F.No.24/Misc.Policy/Disability/DHS/NHC/ In pursuance of the provisions of the Rule 25 of the Delhi Rights of Persons with

Disability rules 2018 , the Department of Health & Family Welfare of National Capital Territory of Delhi hereby specifies, for

the purpose of issuance of Certificate of Disability as mentioned in clause (r) of section 2 of said Act, the Hospital/

Institutions mentioned in Column No. (3) of the Table given below, as Medical Authorities for the types of Disabilities

mentioned in column no. (2) thereof, in accordance with the Jurisdiction area (District wise) as mentioned in column (4) and

further directs that the Medical Officer/ Specialists/ Trained clinical or rehabilitation psychologist/Occupational Therapist or

Special Educator or Teacher Trained for Assessment of Special Learning Disability (SLD) (as the case may be ) of the

Hospital/Institutions as mentioned in Column 5, is authorised to sign the Disability Certificate on behalf of Medical

Authority.
