WHO WE ARE: Presentation of the Tunisian Federation of Bodybuilding and

Fitness

The President

Mr. Mohamed Marouene Guedoura

Bodybuilding and fitness have an essential place in the Tunisian sporting environment.

Fun and / or competitive, intergenerational activity, practicable by all, bodybuilding and

fitness aligning individual physical performance with the spirit of collective practice.

For (19 years), the federation has established the values of respect and its sharing as its

pillars. The commitment of more than a well-organized and dedicated federal office to a

good cause perfectly illustrates the philosophy and state of mind of our Federation and

the environment conducive to development and learning for its youngest audience as

well. for its veterans.

In order to support us in our expansion and in the conduct of our general interest

mission throughout this new 2019-2020 season, we are now seeking to promote and

improve the image of our sport.

The Tunisian Federation of Bodybuilding and Fitness proposes, the improvement of the

spirit of competition between international athletes.

Presentation of the organizing country

Location: North Africa, Maghreb, Bordered by the

Mediterranean Sea, between Algeria and Libya.

This is North Africa wrapped up into one bite-sized

package, with vast Sahara dunes, mammoth ancient

ruins, and exotic cities that are home to a sprawling

tangle of souks. Tunisia was Rome's breadbasket, and the

cultural riches the Romans left behind are more than

enough reason to visit. But the history of Arab Empires

has also bestowed the country with some of the region's

most beautiful examples of Islamic architecture

categories of guest rooms and suites for the total of

about 20 km from the hotel.

El Mouradi Gammarth hotel is a great choice for

travelers interested to be nearby the city but also

enjoying the leisure provided in and out of the

hotel.

Important notice on arrival and departure by plane

The Main airport is Tunis Carthage International Airport (TUN), where the Organizing Committee will

be present to secure your transfer to the Hotel on the Thursday, October 15th, 2020 to the Hotel and in the

way back, Monday, October 20, 2020 to the airport.

It is very important that each National Federation provides the Organizing Committee with complete full

information about his team:

Early arrivals and Late departures:

Each National Federation will be responsible for all the expenses of any member and its team arriving

prior to the official arrival date of October 15th and /or who remains after the official departure date of

❖ Important Notice • All National Team Official Participants’ (athletes and delegates) must check-in BEFORE the start of the Technical

Meeting, any Official Participant not checked-in by this deadline will be classified as an extra delegate and he will

be responsible for his own extra expenses.

• Any judge, coach or trainer who is not an Official Participant will be responsible for his own extra expenses.

• If your National Federation wishes to bring a judge, a coach or a trainer, it is recommended that your Federation

nominate this participant as an official participant for your Federation. Otherwise, he will be responsible for his

own extra expenses. The same rules apply for his family members.

NO EXCEPTIONS WILL BE MADE UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES

Hotel booking (Important notice)

All athletes must imperatively complete the document (Hotel booking) and send

it to the email of the Tunisian Bodybuilding, Fitness and Powerlifting

Federation (Email: [email protected]) before the date of October 7th,

2020.

The ‘Hotel booking’ document is attached to the Inspection Report.

Important: TFBB is the only organization that could make hotel reservations for

athletes and their companions.

The transport including airport - hotel – venue - hotel - airport is only EUR €40.

Participation

• The IFBB DIAMOND CUP TUNISIA is open to the IFBB-affiliated National Federations from Europe

and Africa. The number of competitors participating in these championships is unlimited.

• The ARAB MAGHREB CHAMPIONSHIPS are open to the following National Federations affiliated to

the IFBB: Tunisia, Morocco, Libya, Algeria and Mauritania. The number of competitors participating in

this championships is unlimited.

• Competitors must be current members of their IFBB-affiliated National Federations at the time of

competition to be eligible.

• Registration of athletes will only be considered if they are nominated by their IFBB-affiliated National

Federations. Entry Forms should be e-mailed by the National Federation of the athlete to:

Please note that it is the FULL RESPONSIBILITY AND OBLIGATION OF THE

NATIONAL FEDERATION to verify that each athlete registered for this international event

is NOT suspended or exempt from any period of ineligibility due to any anti-doping rule

violation or any disciplinary matter at national or international level.

IFBB Registration and Accommodation

Official Athlete Registration will take place in the

HOTEL EL MOURADI GAMMARTH,

October 16th, 2020 from 10:00 till 15:00.

• All athletes will have to produce their Passports and

IFBB International Cards at the registration.

• All posing music must be on an audio CD only.

• The posing music must start at the beginning of the

CD.

• Each competitor must affix his name on the CD for

easy identification.

IMPORTANT/ THE USE OF PROFANE, VULGAR AND/ OR OFFENSIVE

LANGUHE IS STRICTLY PROHIBITED IN POSING MUSIC

IFBB Registration Fees

Each athlete and official delegate must pay the IFBB

Registration Fee of EUR €200 in cash at the Registration. In

case of participation in two competitions (Diamond Cup and

Maghreb Championships) each athlete and official delegate

must pay EUR €250.

Athletes who have not yet obtained the IFBB International

Card or need to renew his card will have to pay EUR €35.

PLEASE NOTE

When paying cash at arrival in the hotel, ONE official delegate per National Federation will have

the responsibility for payment of the IFBB Registration Fee and the IFBB International Cards

(Bleu book)) for the entire team.

No individual payments will be taken. Please have the right amount with you.

Parade of Nations

The mandatory dress code for Delegates participating in the Parade of Nations (one

delegate per country) will be IFBB attire, black dress shoes, grey dress pants with shirt,

IFBB tie and blue blazer with the IFBB crest. No delegates participate in the Parade of

Nation wearing sports clothes and sports shoes.

Camera/ Video and Tape Equipment

Green Cards

Camera and/or video tape equipment should be

strictly forbidden in the backstage and/or dressing

room areas except when used by IFBB authorized

Media representative person and, in any event, these

devices shall be strictly forbidden in the dressing

room area

Green Cards are used to limit access to weigh-in and

backstage area during the prejudging and finals. they

will be distributed at the Team Managers and Judges

Meeting as follow:

▪ Five (5) or more athletes = Two (2) Green Cards

▪ Less than (5) athletes = One (1) Green Card

Tanning needs

• The IFBB has banned all tans that can be wiped off. An Official will check the tan of all

athletes’ backstage and if the tan comes off by simply wiping, the athlete will be told to

remove the tan BEFORE going on stage.

• Pro Tan and its Tanning Team will be offering tanning at the CULTURAL AND SPORTS

CENTER OF YOUTH MENZAH 6.

Judges

• To be taken into consideration during selection of judges panels at the

Championships. IFBB International Judges (also Test-Judges) must be included in

the Final Entry Forms sent by National Federation, according to the IFBB Rules.

• All IFBB International Judges must bring their International Judge’s Cards to

Tunis.

• IFBB International Judges must have a valid IFBB Judge’s Card with judges fee of

EUR €50 paid for 2020. This fee may also be paid at the championships in Tunis.

Doping Control

• Doping Control will be conducted by the IFBB Anti-Doping Commission pursuant to the IFBB

Anti-Doping rules, using an NADA (National Anti-Doping Association) accredited laboratory.

• In order to compete in the championships, all competitors at the weigh-in and registration will be

required to sign a Drug Testing Consent and Waiver of Liability form. Doping Control may be

conducted using any of the following methods:

✓ Random Selection: A number of athletes selected at random throughout the event at weigh-in.

✓ Weighted Selection: A number of athletes selected at random from among the top finalist at

finals.

• The IFBB reserves the rights to target test any athlete.

• The IFBB is a signatory to the WADA Code. Participating National Federations have a duty and

obligation to ensure that their national team athletes are Competing Drug-Fee at IFBB international

competitions.

Media accreditation

All media accreditation, except local media shall be controlled by the IFBB. All persons wishing

to obtain a media accreditation for his event must register with the IFBB by completing and signing

an IFBB Media Accreditation Form not later than SEPTEMBER 15th, 2020. You may contact the

Athlete without Delegates

• All athletes competing in the IFBB DIAMOND CUP CHAMPIONSHIPS must be members in

good standing of their National Federations.

• Any athlete who arrives without a delegate must be nominated by his National Federation by

sending the Final Entry Form with his name, failing which the athlete will not be allowed to

participate.

Misrepresentation

• Misrepresentation is a serious breach of the IFBB Code of Ethics and occurs when an “official”

of a National Federation deliberately misrepresents the number of Athletes and Delegates so as

to obtain free of charge accommodations, meals, onsite transportation, and access to the

Prejudging, Finals and other amenities at the expense of the Organizer.

• Part of this misrepresentation may be a false claim that a person is an Athlete only to have that

so-called Athlete fail to officially register as a competitor at the Weigh-in or, once having

officially registered, fail to compete.

• Any National Federation found guilty of misrepresentation will be immediately disqualified

from the Championships and will be fined an amount equal to the Special Package Rate for each

person involved.

Medical Withdrawal w

Once officially registered, no Athlete may withdraw from competition without the prior approval of the

IFBB Chief Judge. It is not acceptable for a National Federation to unilaterally withdraw an Athlete without

the prior approval of the IFBB Chief Judge, who has the right to verify the reason for the withdrawal.

Final Entry Form (FEF)

The deadline for sending the Final Entry Form is Wednesday, October 07th, 2020. National Federations

must submit the actual names of all Official Participants (Athletes by category and Delegates, including

Judges). You must also provide arrival and departure information. Your assistance is essential to ensuring

your accommodations at the hotel and adequate transportation for your team.

IF THE FINAL ENTRY FORM RETURNS TO THE ORGANIZING COMMETTEE AFTER

OCTOBER 07th, 2020, THE NATIONAL FEDERATION WILL HAVE TO PAY THE FULL

PACKAGE IN A DOUBLE ROOM OR IN A SINGLE ROOM FOR EACH MEMBER OF ITS

NATIONAL TEAM (ATHLETES AND DELEGATES)
