Some of the highlights for kids will include a carnival area with
rides by Fun & Games Rentals. New this year will be Morgan

in the eating contests! There will be no shortage of activities for
the entire family at this year’s Tracy 4th of July event! This year,

BUSINESS QUOTE OF THE MONTH:
“All progress takes place outside the comfort zone” – Michael John Bobak
Ambassador Spotlight: Maggie Foresee-Griese
Maggie Foresee Griese joined the Chamber Ambassador Group about a year ago with the desire to become more active in the community. Maggie describes herself as “eclectic” and is very knowledgeable in the
fields of business, marketing and fundraising.
Maggie is originally a California girl who has enjoyed being able to travel across multiple continents for work with multiple industries (high-tech, financial services, etc.) and has worked for small and large companies all over the world.
Being the youngest of 12 children, Maggie quickly learned to step up and do her part at an early age.
We recently asked Maggie to share with us about herself so other members can get to know her better.
Why did you become an Ambassador? “I became an Ambassador because I love meeting other business people in the community, as well as government representatives and school personnel that lead and drive our youth. I truly delight in attending the Chamber coffees, lunch meet-ups, ribbon cuttings and Grand Openings to be part of the excitement of growth in Tracy. And, I even get to emcee events which help me keep up on my public speaking while promoting the greatness of the Ambassador group.”
What other involvement have you had in the community? “I’ve had the privilege of being a stage manager for the Shakespeare in the Park Play in Mountain House at the Grand Theatre Center for the Arts. I have a love for performing arts and have had the opportunity to travel across the U.S. as a singer and vocal director, assistant director and stage manager in schools and community theatres in California and Colorado. I have also been known to make costumes, develop PR and whatever else is needed .”
The next time you see Maggie around town, thank her for all her support to the Chamber and its members as an Ambassador! If you would like to connect directly with Maggie Foresee Griese, email her at [email protected].
