Promote fellowship amongst the student body and continue the scholastic standing of its members and its colleagues

Service Projects at the House of Healing, a local women’s shelter
Bi-annual Blood Drives
Fundraising: Bake sales & Potluck dinners
Ambassadorship
Additional community service projects
General club meeting the third Tuesday of every month to discuss upcoming events and promote fellowship amongst student colleagues
Members participate in community service and fundraising events as part of their SSP commitment
Shelter that offers a positive alternative environment for incarcerated women and their children in addition to women in danger of losing custody of their children
Holiday dinners and events: Christmas, Thanksgiving, Halloween, Easter
SSP offers financial support raised through fundraising events Potluck dinner on November 18
Past and future events include: general maintenance, arts and crafts, and much more!
Helped set up for and serve Easter dinner
Organized activities for children at the House of Healing, including bunny bowling, egg decorating, and relay races.
Collaborative effort with Community Blood Bank of Erie, PA
Held at LECOM campus every spring and fall since 2002
SSP orchestrates the donations of students, faculty, staff and community, and works in concert with the blood bank to ensure efficient collection
