test certificate affixed to the inside lid which dates May 26th 1926. £120-130

41. A 19th Century Knife Pistol by Rodgers of Sheffield, circa 1850 the .30 calibre

percussion cap pistol has a 3.5" octagonal barrel which bears Birmingham proof marks. The gun has a folding trigger and a fitted cap box in the base of the grip. The two blades marked 'William Rodgers' Sheffield and 'Real Lambs Foot' referring to the grips. A early model made prior to the company name change of Unwin & Rogers and the updating of the firing system.
