School Compositions

Here is a pile of my school work in English. These papers will range from band to my own stories. In this is a collection of misc. things and some stories about crazy things. There are trips,

school work, random stories and my favorite things in life.

Break from school

What I needed a break form during that week of spring break was the hassle of school and the rush of every day. I didn’t have to get

homework done; I could just sit back and relax. I also got to take a break from working. All I did was sit around and play video games.

My friend Jordan Crosby came over for a couple of days. Some of the work I liked getting away from was the math work.

Best Football game ever

I couldn’t have asked for a better day. Here I was cheering on

Alabama. What better way can you spend on afternoon. Alabama

Crimson Tide was playing the Arkansas Razorbacks. Throughout the whole game Arkansas didn’t score at all. I loved it! Alabama beat them 52-0. That was probably the best college game ever.

Florida Trip

There is a cool place I went to 2 years ago. I went to Key West, Florida. We stayed on the island of Marathon. It is the second

farthest island from the coast. On the island we went crabbing. Later during the stay, we went to Ernest Hemmingway’s house.

He is a famous writer. At his house there where the famous 6 toed cats. The cats where imported from Cuba under

Hemmingway’s request. These cats are called Hemmingway cats. Another trip that was cool that we took was our trip to Colorado

Springs, Colorado. Here we went to Garden of the Gods. Here was the balancing rock.

After Colorado we went to Austin, Texas to meet up with my

grandfather. There we went to a water park called Schlitterbahn. This park was amazing. The park is one of the largest waterparks

in the world, located in New Braunfels. So what I have to say to people who want to go to these places is

have fun because there is nothing to get bored with. The way you want to discover difference between here and the world is to

travel. You will always have fun traveling.

Shipwrecked

Pacific ocean 1831, William was aboard a cruise ship heading for

Japan. He was in the bottom deck were all the passengers stayed. William had heard a loud scream and he went up to the top deck

to see what the scream was about. When he got up there he saw a bunch of giant spikey rocks coming for them. He heard the

captain screaming for everybody to get in a lifeboat. Right before he could get to the boat, the whole ship jerk to the left. The last thing he saw before he was thrown from the ship was the hull

splitting. When William woke up he was washed up onto a mysterious island. In the distance he saw the boat slowly sinking

into the water. William got up and turned around to search the island. He found a cave surrounded with trees, bushes, and vines.

He goes in to search. Inside he sees water dripping from the stalactites. The water is echoing through the cave. He searches

the cave for about an hour and then comes out to find the sun is being taken over by the water. William spends the next 90 years

of his life on the island, living to an age of 100. Then dies, never to be found.

Movie of the Year “In my opinion”

This movie is known as “The Expendables”. In this movie an

Albanian princess is kidnapped by the king. The king gained power by killing the princess’s father. In the movie there is Sylvester

Stallone, Jet Li, Jason Statham, Terry Crews, Dolph Lundgren, and many more. This special group is sent out to rescue the daughter.

The thing that is in common with most heroes and this one is to save people. This movie is very awesome because it is bloody and

action packed. There are a lot of explosion and big guns. If you like

movies with guns, blood, and explosion watch this movie.

Zombie-Mania

I didn’t know exactly where the train was going. After I paying my

fare, I simply stood on the platform waiting for it to whisk me away to somewhere, anywhere but here. And that’s when it

happened. I saw a man running across the tracks. He didn’t look good. His skin was rotted and moldy. He was missing an arm. He

saw the people and stared running at us. Then he jumped onto a man and bit down. The only thing going through my mind was

“I’ve heard of zombies, but I thought it was just a joke.” I started to run, but then something tacked me. I turned over right as the

creature bit down on my arm. Everything went black.

Now you’re thinking the story is over, the main character is dead.

Not exactly. This story is from the eye of the zombie. Back to the story. I was just moping around the train station bored as always.

There haven’t been any humans around for 2 months. All I see is lifeless body’s walking around. I turned around to see a screaming

jet fly over. They dropped 2000 lb. bomb. I see the explosion coming. I know this is the end.

Band, Band, and more Band

Middle school band is very fun. Right now I am first chair

saxophone. There are only 4 Saxes. 3 seventh grades and I. I play the most common saxophone, the alto. In the band room there is

another saxophone. It is known as the Bari or the baritone. The baritone is the lowest range of all the saxophones. I have played 2

out of 4 Saxes. The 2 I haven’t played is the soprano and the tenor. The soprano is the highest ranged sax and the tenor is the

third in line. The tenor is in B flat just like the trumpet and the clarinet. The soprano is also in b flat. The alto and the bari is in E

flat. My grandfather played the tenor. This is where my dad started to play. My mom just picked it up and started to play. My

reasoning for playing is because I want to be a 3rd generation sax.

Computer Games

In this part there are a bunch of papers about my computer

games. You will see what I play and how fun it is. In here it talks about updates, new games, and a lot of cool video games. In here

is minecraft and warface. Other stories are about people I watch on Youtube. There people are cool.

Warface

There is a new game that came out about 3 months ago. The

company who made this game is Crytek. Crytek is known for Dead Space 1, 2, and 3. They also made the Crysis games. This game

takes us from the futuristic games and into modern day fighting. The game is called Warface. You are a part of an elite team of

killers. There are four members of this group. The sniper, medic, engineer, and the rifleman. The engineer has the ability to defuse

bombs, plant bombs, plant claymores, and does a lot of damage. The rifleman is the most common. He uses the M8A1 battle-rifle

for mid-range combat. He supplies ammo for the rest of the team. Next is the medic. The medic can revive dead players and heal

anyone during battle. Finally my personal favorite, the sniper. The

sniper has a long range rifle that is very powerful. You usually want be cautions when this guy is around. So all in all, you need a

good team consisting of all four classes. You also have to work together and have good teamwork to succeed in the game.

Pretty Scary Update

Guess what Minecraft fans, there is a new update coming your

way. The update is called 1.4 or the Pretty Scary update. In 1.4 you will be able to control your world like never before. There are

new command blocks. They allow you to control weather, spawn, teleporting, difficulties, and many other things. Also there are 2

new potions Night Vision and Invisibility. Next there are new mob sound and mobs. The new mobs are zombie’s babies and Zombie

villagers. The zombies pick up items that are dropped on the floor. There are wither bosses and Wither Skeletons. The boss is really

hard to face. There are flower pots, picture frames, different color dog collars, corner stairs, and new dyeing leather armor. There are 2 new foods, compared to your bread, chicken, steak, pork

chop, apple, cake, cookies, and mushroom stew. There are potatoes and carrots. Carrots are used for night vision potions.

While harvesting potatoes, there is a 2% chance of getting a poisonous potato. There are new beacons and swamp huts. Inside

these huts are witches. Yes there are witches. There are also bats. Doors open with right click instead of left. I can’t wait for 1.4.

Redstone Update

The upcoming 1.5 update for Minecraft is coming in February. The

date has not been released yet, but they have talked about it. They have snapshots that come out before the actually release.

They come out every Thursday. They are up to 13w04b. This will be the Redstone update. In this is new item and things that are

affected by Redstone. They are adding new blocks known as a daylight sensor, Redstone block, dropper, hopper, minecarts with

hopper, and a new minecart rail that ignites the TNT minecart. The hopper lets you funnel things. Something they have added is the comparator. Just like a repeater the comparator sends out a

Redstone signal when a signal comes through. It gives it a rejuiced signal so it is back up to full juice. They are also adding a weighted

pressure plate. One is gold and the other is an iron plate. They are both made with 2 ingots. A daylight sensor is like solar panels. It

doesn’t store power is just holds it for that the day. Also there is quartz. Quartz is a main ingredient for the comparator. You have

to go to the nether to get this ore. Last is a giant block of Redstone. It gives out a signal from every direction. 1.5 is going to

be really awesome update.

Land of Dwarfz

Once upon a time, there was a dwarf named Simon. This dwarf

was very imaginative. This little dwarf was very creative at coming up with ideas for his mining operations. He came up with this new

pickaxe drill. He got a motor and some rubber belts. He put the motor on a cart, and then put the belts around the motor and

then around the pickaxes. Simon revved up the motor and the pickaxes started swinging. Simon sang a diddly while the pickaxes

where going. “I am a dwarf and I am digging a hole, diggy, diggy hole, digging a hole.” The machine easily mined through the

bedrock. Then about an hour in, he found diamonds. He went back to the surface and live a nice life eating Jaffa cakes.

In this you will see a pile of my favorite writings about Black Ops

II. In this you will learn how I play, what I do and what’s new about the game. DLC comes out every few months. One is a war

story about being pulled into war. Mostly it’s about having fun playing Xbox.

Favorite Game

I have been playing this game that was the biggest sale of video

games. It is Call of Duty Black Ops 2. I play a lot of multiplayer. Right now I am the rank of 33 Major. A bunch of my friends have

this game also. One is named William Dudley. He has prestige over 10 times. He is almost prestige master. Another friend is

Jordan Crosby. He is prestige rank 1. He doesn’t play a lot. I will prestige soon. My favorite game modes are kill confirmed, Team

deathmatch, Domination, and Hardcore Team Deathmatch. There are some party games I like to play also. There are known as gun game, sticks and stones, and sharpshooter. On team deathmatch you have to kill the members of the other team. Same thing for hardcore. On kill confirmed, you have to collect the dog tags of

the enemy solider. Domination is a game mode where you have to secure positions. These are known as Alpha, Bravo, and Charlie.

Domination is my personal favorite. The top two guns I uses is the PDW and the M27. The attachments for the PDW are fore grip,

long barrel, and reflex sight. On the M27 I have fast mag, quick draw, and reflex sight. Both secondary’s is the B23R. This hand

gun is really reliable. My perks for both is Dexterity, Toughness, and Hardline. My lethal is a Bouncing Betty and my tactical is

shock charge. If you have every played this game, you know its fun.

DLC

There is a new DLC that is coming out for black ops 2. It is called

Uprising. This DLC adds 4 new multiplayer maps and 1 new zombie map. The four maps are Vertigo, Magma, Encore, and

Studio. The new zombie map is called Mob of the Dead. This is supposed to be Treyarchs scariest rendition of zombies ever. It

takes you back to Alcatraz, a prison on the San Francisco Bay. You have to fight your way through hordes of the undead. To leave

the island you have to construct a plane. This plane will take you to the San Francisco Bay Bridge. On the bridge is the pack-a-punch

machine. The multiplayer maps are awesome. Studio is a reskined, redesigned version of firing range. Firing range is one of the most famous multiplayer map from black ops 1. Vertigo takes

you up 200 ft. onto a tall skyscraper. You have to maneuver tiny walkways to live. Just don’t fall off or you’re done. Encore is a

map based around a concert stage. If you control the center stage you control the entire map. Finally magma, Magma is a map all

based around an erupting volcano. This map is good for sniping. While the enemy is disoriented by the lava, you can take them

out. DLC is amazing, so you should try it out.

Black Ops II Tactics

Something I am good at right now is playing video games. The

best game I play is Black Ops 2. Right now I have four prestige guns and I have prestige once in the ranks. Here are a few tips on

how to be good at gaming. Be aware. Always be aware to your surroundings. You can hear

voice commands that help you pin point where the people are. Some are “I’m Out” or “Reloading”. Also you can hear footsteps. A

good thing to have on you score streaks is a UAV of an Orbital VSAT. Both of these machines tell you where people are. Second

have good weapons. Make classes that you are familiar with. Use attachments that aid you. Reflex sight for accuracy, fore grip for

reduced recoil, and fast mag. Fast mag will help because you don’t

want to be caught reloading and killed. If you don’t use you secondary a lot, use a lock on rocket launcher. These can take

down enemy UAV, blackbirds, stealth choppers, and escort choppers. Third get familiar with the maps. Once you have played

a lot you can find all the sneaky spot to attack people. These tips will help you be an awesome gamer.

World War

One day I was playing my video game, black ops, when all of a

sudden I got pulled into the TV. When I opened my eye I could see smoke, fire, and bullets all around. I felt someone grab my arm

and hoist me up screaming, “Get up, there is a napalm strike coming in!” I grabbed my rifle right as I hear the roar of a F4

phantom scream over dropping 2000 lb. of hot, flaming liquid onto the jungle. I turn around to see NVA soldiers running out.

They were on fire. Then they drop to the ground dead. The guy grabs my arm once again and we run back to base.
