The inspiration for the Antarctic Scene
• Recommend one A6 sized card or acrylic paper, one for each student. This size is good for speed, drying time, need for detail and brush control, it is also good for only needing a small amount of paint.
QuickTime™ and a decompressor
are needed to see this picture.

Resources• 2 x 4mm paintbrush and 1 fine tip paintbrush per
student. 1 brush for white & yellow, 1 brush for blues and the fine tip for black & dark blue.
• Acrylic paint - white, blue, yellow and black. Thicker paint (especially for white is best). No water to be added to thin paints.
• A5 or A6 sized card for each student.

Step 7
• Allow black to dry.• Using white brush, paint white bodies. Then add detail
with yellow (it is ok if white is not dry as yellow will blend nicely).
• Finally, using the dark blue, paint the shadows.
