Policies with the liability coverage endorsement(s) have an extended event date for purposes of liability coverage only. This means your customers will have liability coverage at the event location until 2:00 a.m. (in the time zone where the event is being held) the day after the event. My client’s vendor (i.e., caterer, band, wedding planner, etc.) does not have liability coverage of their own. Can we list them as an additional insured?

No. Our policy is personal lines coverage only and is intended to provide coverage for the liability of the named insured and honoree(s). We cannot provide professional liability coverage to vendors on our policy. We can, however, list the event venue(s) as an additional insured for liability arising out of the acts or omissions of the named insured or honoree on the event date.

What are the payment options and the cancellation/premium refund policy?

Policies are paid in full using a credit or debit card. The premium is fully earned, and in most states, policies cannot be canceled. As the agent, you should review the Premium Refund Policy, along with the applicable Fraud Warning and Underwriting Requirements with your clients prior to issuing coverage to avoid any misunderstanding.

Where can I order brochures for my agency?

Select “Order brochures and forms” from the Create Materials tab on toolkitPlus to have brochures sent to your office for free. Printable marketing materials are also located on the wedding insurance page on Travelers For Agents.

What if I get an error message when I try to Quote and Issue?

Please call Travelers Agency Automation at 800.243.1334 to correct this error.

What is the process for adding a Wedding Protector Plan link to my agency website and receiving commissions for policies sold through that link?

Agents who want to add a link to their website to capture ancillary Wedding/Event Product sales need to complete an agency profile form and email the completed form to: [email protected].

Our partners at Brown & Brown will engage you to assist with the setup process.
