Solan, Himachal Pradesh • 34 girls from

Arushi and 6 staff members spent 5 days in Solan. The children stayed at premises of another NGO RUCHI and were able to understand various techniques of Natural Resource Management in catchment villages

•Visit to the villages to understand the mechanisms used to manage natural resources

•The girls were able learn about various types farming and also enjoyed first hand experience of farming!

Visit to the organic farms developed by

RUCHI team and collectively managed by

peaches, apricots.
