Since 1991, Texas Parks and Wildlife

Foundation has leveraged public funds with private

philanthropy to advance Texas’ proud outdoor

traditions and conserve our state’s wildlife, habitat,

and natural resources. Our vision is for all Texans

Bastrop State Park continues to recover from the devastating 2011 wildfire. More than

75,000trees have been planted, representing over 10,000 volunteer hours.

Families were reunited with loved ones. The Texas Parks and Wildlife K-9 Team successfully conducted

16 search and rescue operations.

Nearly1,000 families enjoyed camping together under the stars at Texas State Parks for the first time, thanks to the Texas Outdoor Family program.

Work continues to restore the iconic pronghorn to West Texas. Over

400 pronghorn have been translocated to the Trans-Pecos to boost critically low populations.

Who needs wild things and wild places in Texas? We all do, and that’s why generous investors have committed

over $65 million (55% of goal) to the Keeping it Wild Campaign, launched in March 2014.T. Dan FriedkinChairman Emeritus, TPW CommissionCampaign Chair
