Total of 53 pupils— Islesford, 19 pupils; Great Cranberry Island, 34.

namely, Miss Nina Hammond, Great Cranberry Island grammar, a graduate of Washington State normal, and George Milner, Islesford grammar, a graduate o f Eastern State normal.

All four teachers are doing excellent work, and I believe this to be a very successful year.

I should like very much to see some playground apparatus, such as swings, slides, etc., at each school. I believe the State would help us financially on this project.

Seventeen pupils are receiving higher education in different schools of the State, as fo llow s:

In closing, I wish to heartily thank the superintending school committee and citizens for their support during the year.

To the Citizens of Cranberry Isles:

W e have examined the report of the superintendent o f schools, and approve the same. W e feel able to recommend a reduction in our common school fund next year, but believe the high school tuition fund should remain the same, as there is a much larger number of tuition pupils than form erly.
