Old regulation GENRES, 1994 – 1999. 21 programmes funded ; 4 on AnGR (Pig, Rabbit, Cattle, Permanent inventory)

New development in 2003. ERFP involved through the NCs during 2 meetings (February and March 2003)

The new 1467/94 could start at the beginning of 2004. The ERFP must play a role.

Role of existing networks (ECP/GR, ERFP, EUFORGEN) Socioeconomic aspects of rural development Sustainable agriculture Budget ( 7 – 10 millions Euros). Consultation on draft work programme.
