Kathy Bond, Secretary of the Board Pennsylvanians for Human Life,
CCWS Medical, under the leadership of Myriam Ruager, has made tremendous advances in reaching out to the community and offering women their services especially in the realm of saving baby's lives. The Coupon Campaign has been a visible means for young women to "see" in their hands the opportunity for an Ultrasound. It is well known in the pro-life community that when a mother sees her baby on the Ultrasound - it is a lifesaver. Myriam, with her contagious, joyful personality and Christian charity, has reached out and availed herself by meeting and interacting with many in the pro-life, Christian and business community. The services offered by CCWS to women in a crisis pregnancy are not only
life saving but life changing.
Paula Harris, Director, Transformed Worldwide Ministries,
I praise God for Myriam and the CCWS Medical Staff as they continue their faithful service on behalf of the unborn. Jesus said, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one can come to the Father except through me.” (John 14:6, NLT) Not only are they advocates for life, but they point others to the true source of all life, Jesus Christ. Myriam is a dedicated Bible student and one who sacrificially gives of herself for others. May our Lord continue to bless and provide for this wonderful ministry.
Dear Friends and Partners of CCWS Medical,
It is with gratitude and great joy that we celebrated CCWS Medical’s 27th Anniversary in February of 2012. It is wonderful to see how the work of “united people” under God’s call has impacted the lives of pregnant women and families through the 27 years. Through the love and encouragement offered by our staff and volunteers, women begin to understand their God-given dignity and worth and the incalculable value of their babies.
As this Annual Report highlights the 2011 story of CCWS Medical, I want to express my personal appreciation for all your assistance, love, and support. I want to thank and recognize the financial generosity and spiritual commitment of individuals, groups, and churches. Your faithful friendship and financial support provides us with the opportunity to come alongside abortion minded/vulnerable teens and women in the Chester County Area.
Amos 5: 4, 5, 13-15, 24 says: “This is what the Lord says to the house of Israel: Seek me and live. Seek the Lord and live… Therefore the prudent man keeps quiet in such times, for the times are evil. Seek good, not evil, that you may live. Then the Lord God Almighty will be with you, just as you say he is. Hate evil, love good; maintain justice in the courts. Perhaps the Lord God Almighty will have mercy… But let justice roll on like a river, righteousness like a never failing stream!”
In such times like this that we live, help us to show Jesus in our community to those in need. Partner with us to defend those who cannot speak for themselves. I prayerfully ask for your continued support during 2012.
In His Service and by His Grace, Myriam Ruager, Executive Director
CCWS Medical is grateful for your partnership and humbled
by your giving.
We continually pray for His stewardship in all that He has
allowed us to receive.
The Family Movement class participants and
their children.

Pastor Chris Swansen, Calvary Chapel Chester Springs, We at Calvary Chapel Chester Springs appreciate the ministry of Chester County Women's Services. They not only stand to protect the unborn, but they also disciple and encourage those they minister to on how to be good parents. We thank God for the impact they are making one family at a time.

Jim Fongheiser, Knights of Columbus St. Maximilian Kolbe, The Knights of Columbus and many other local groups and individuals consider themselves “pro-life”. We get involved in projects and special efforts and we pray. The incredible CCWS Medical staff and volunteers start each day with prayer and then jump right in with both feet to do the Lord’s work! It is these fine people and the work they do that we other pro-lifers support. It is these individuals and the lives they touch that we pray for. The KOC can sometimes offer support for worthy projects and efforts that CCWS Medical is involved in. We ask that they continue to be divinely inspired as they connect with people in need. Each life they save will change the world, … forever!

To Our Faithful Supporters,
“Make a joyful shout unto the Lord, all you lands! Serve the Lord with gladness;... Enter into His gates with thanksgiving, and into His courts with praise…” Psalm 100: 1-2 & 4
“Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be known to God...” Philippians 4:6
These two scripture verses truly sum up the past year at CCWS Medical as we set a goal to pray, pray and then pray again with supplication and thanksgiving for all our needs. The Board has committed to serve CCWS Medical and the Lord with right attitudes and glad hearts. The results have been nothing short of miraculous. We have an amazing staff and volunteers without whom this ministry would not be able to fulfill its mission. Prayer has also led our donors and supporters to give generously and we thank you for all you did in 2011. You have answered God’s call every time CCWS Medical has been in need. The Board has said time and time again that if we are doing the Lord’s work, for His glory, He will provide, bless and protect CCWS Medical. We believe He is pleased with the work we are doing, in His name, because of all the blessings we are receiving. Thank you and God bless you.
Soli Deo Gloria, Phil Vandenberg President, Board of Directors
In Her own words:
“While I was in college I found myself with an unexpected pregnancy. I did not know what to do and I was scared. My
emotions were all over the place. Soon after I knew I was pregnant, I stumbled upon CCWS Medical. I called and they made me an appointment for that very afternoon. When I went to the appointment, I did not know what to expect; they were the nicest people. They gave me hugs and made me feel loved. CCWS Medical was helpful and non judgmental. Before going to the appointment my family and friends gave me advice and had different opinions on whether I should keep my baby or have an abortion. All this advice left me up in the air as to what I was going to do, whether to have an abortion or keep my baby. It was when I went back to the medical room for my ultrasound at CCWS Medical that I made my decision. I saw my baby’s heartbeat and that made my decision for me. The heartbeats on the ultrasound machine made me want to keep my baby and I knew that it was a life growing inside of me. I cannot imagine my life now without my son. I love him so much; he is the most important thing in the world to me.”

Thank you to the 2011 Partnering Church who help us in many ways! Stories from the heart:
CCWS Medical has the privilege to minister to our clients by introducing them to their babies and we also have the privilege to introduce life to the moms by sharing about Jesus. One of the beautiful stories I have to share happened a few weeks ago. I saw how forgiveness flowed through a mom and a new life began with the prayer of salvation. Tears of joy rolled down this woman’s face when she asked Jesus into her heart. God is so good. We have a new sister in the Lord. Rejoice with CCWS as we serve “Saving Lives One Heartbeat at a Time”.
