Letter From Kathleen Malkinski Board Chair:

Dear Morris Catholic Family, During this past summer, I was up at 200 Morris Avenue and the energy of a pending new school year filled the hallways, the athletic fields and yes, even the library as the community reconnected. Capital improvements were underway and many teachers were in early setting up their classrooms. I felt quite nostalgic for when our three daughters

attended and excited to help continue the magic at MC. This was the perfect setting to meet our Interim Principal, Bill Cleffi. When you meet Mr. Cleffi, you immediately sense what a great fit he is for MC with his wealth of experience and support of our culture, where Every Student Matters. We also welcomed our new Development Director, Jeff Knapp, who has a strong track record supporting Catholic schools. He joins us at a critical time for Catholic education, and the board is looking forward to collaborating with Jeff on new ways to support MC’s mission. Clearly God had a hand in bringing these men to our gem in Denville. As I write this note, the Board is preparing for its annual retreat where we will come together in prayer and planning not only for this year, but for our three-year strategic plan to help ensure MC has a vibrant future for current and future Crusaders.Many blessings,
