Annual Report 2019-2020 I feel honoured and privileged to welcome the Chief Guest of this evening ………………… Guest of honour ……………. And Special guests …………… I also welcome the dignitaries ………………, Principals of neighbouring DAV Public Schools………………………, parents and ladies & gentlemen. A very good evening to you all and at the same time good wishes for the New Year 2020. Sirs, DAV Public School, Hudco was established in 1991 and in the span of 29 years it has achieved many milestones and the students passed out from this School are proving their worth not only in the Country but also outside the Country. That gives us satisfaction and solace to the parents that their children are in the safe hands. Here I would like to emphasize that each and every member of the School is contributing to the growth of the students’ personality to make them successful and to earn name and fame. At present this School has the strength of 3343, Teaching faculties 106, Non - teaching 05 and Support Staff 80. The School Staff is getting salary as per 7 CPC and treated in a manner that their ego and sentiments do not get hurt and are inspired for innovations. The Annual Function of the School is not only a platform to present cultural activities but also it gives an opportunity to peep through the window to know about the activities ensuring holistic development of the students and also the confidence developed in them to face the future challenges. As a part of Academic activities I would like to apprise you that : (A) We do not conduct pen paper test for Nursery to Std. II rather our purpose is to develop in them a good understanding, we inculcate values at a very early age that shapes their behavior and the skills. This is observed by the teachers on the prescribed rubrics on day to day basis. (B) Students from Std. 3 to Std. 8 have the pen paper test. Though there is no detention policy applied, we take full care of them and you would be surprised to know that the students belonging to unprivileged section are doing exceptionally well. More than 90% students of this group are doing very well and scoring more than 70% in every exam. (C) The students of Std. IX to XII really give impression about the School. By this time they become mature and are ready to face the challenges. This adolescent group requires patient dealing to channelize their talent towards a constructive end. I really feel proud of my teachers that they understand their responsibilities well and this can be assessed by multifarious achievements of our students. In Std. planted 1000+ Saplings so far. 2. We have adopted Hudco Colony to make it Swatch Colony of Bhilai. The students are

giving voluntary services and sensitizing the residents.

4. School had organized Blood Donation Camp with the support of Red Cross Society.
