Rotary Club provided loan to 10 SHGs members to start self employment and it was found that women started their -own business and started earning. As well as Rotary club provided Sport training in Holey ball to young people from community. On the whole, the community life centers functioned very well and carried out a number of activities for its people belonging to various communities.

Under the Ministry of Youth Affairs and sports, Govt. of India is working as a Resource Agency for Nehru Yuva Kendra Sangathan. IDARA Nagpur established in the year 1984. It is supported by Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, Govt. of India. It monitor and evaluate the activities and provide technical guidance and support to the Nehru Yuva Kendras in West Zone consisting of seven states namely Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat, Chhattisgarh, Punjab, Rajasthan & Goa and three Union Territories namely Diu, Daman and Silvasa. IDARA implemented various activities in the year 2009-2010 to accomplish its objectives as i. To provide training, information and human resource support

to NYKs.

ii. To build the capacities of NYK’s functionaries functioning at various levels.

iii. To provide objective feedback to NYKS and the Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports, Govt. of India, about the functioning of NYKs for its utilization to improve the quality of functioning.

iv. Research & Documentation and Information dissemination.

Anganwadi Workers’ Training CourseAnganwadi Workers’ Training CourseAnganwadi Workers’ Training CourseAnganwadi Workers’ Training Course:::: Anganwadi Sevika training centre initiated fromProgramme 14th July 1983 Funded by Ministry of women & Child Welfare Dept. State Govt. & Central Govt. with objective are as: to trained ICDS Anganwadi worker and helper through organizing job & Refresher training courses to enhance Anganwadi Worker’s knowledge skills and their potentials to provide effectively & efficiently services for mother & child through functionary to build capacity of them to enhance their performance in the field.

Nine batches of Job training program(30 days) were organised and 264 AWW trained. 5 Batches of Refresher training program (7 days) were organised and 218 AWW trained as well as two batches for Balwadi teachers were organized. Various teaching methods for ex. brain stroming group discussion, role play, lecture-cum-discussion games puppet are used during conducting programm. Trainees Anganwadi workers from Nagpur Urban Project, Nagpur rural Project and Wardha district attended training. Trainees expressed their opinion that it is one of the best center in Maharashtra, and they are highly satisfied with training facilities and mess facilities. World Breast feeding day, World food day, World children day, World Women day, World AIDS day etc had been celebrated by organizing role play, song, slogan, poster and essay writing competition as well as experts had been invited to guide and deliver lecture.

Middle Level Training Centre was started from 1st April 2001 and organise job and refreshers training course for the deputed supervisors of ICDS to enhance their knowledge, skills, potential and to enhance their performance in the field and to provide efficiently towards community development services to mother and child and to shoulder their job responsibilities. During this year, four batches of job training courses (30 days) had been conducted and trained 78 Supervisors, as well as thirteen batches of Refresher training courses (7 days courses) were conducted and trained 167 Supervisors came from all over the Maharashtra. As per NIPCCD Syllabus course on ICDS orientation, Health and Nutrition, community participation and education, early childhood care and education has been completed, beside syllabus various activities and programme viz: National nutrition week, Breast feeding week, International women’s day, Cultural programmes, Field visit had been organised through making posters, slogans, role play, cultural programme, bal Melawa and inviting guest lecturers, most of the Supervisors have given positive feed back about training facilities and centre, expressed their highly satisfaction.

5. DEWATSDEWATSDEWATSDEWATS---- CBS ProgrammeCBS ProgrammeCBS ProgrammeCBS Programme: This Programme is supported by BORDA. IIYW aim to improve the quality of life of the poor communities through participation of deprived communities by bringing behavioral changes in hygiene practices by provision of Sanitation. In the state of Maharashtra, IIYW has been putting governmental efforts to incorporation of DEWATS technology into the urban sanitation policy of Maharashtra. Since last 3 year multiple level of stakeholders have been informed about specific advantages of DEWATS technology and community based sanitation approach, which includes government department, builders and architects and various communities. This dissemination and regional spread is achieved through organized one regional seminar and four state level meeting with specific focus towards the consideration of DEWATS is a viable solution for waste water treatment. 2 DVD in English and Marathi ready for dissemination of CBS methodology at network level. The government of Maharashtra included CDD in the technical committee on urban sanitation. One national level exhibition, Maharashtra state level lobbying research toward amendment in municipal bye laws and one exposure visit for urban local bodies to best practices in Decentralized Sanitation Maharashtra DESWAM LP-

The standardized module for Health & Hygiene for 5 day module was prepared and same systematically applied in project areas. IIYW has contributed toward the preparation of standard option package being developed at network level. DEWATS – CBS manual and booklet for CBO’s: are prepared as a. CBO finance b. CBO leadership c. options for livelihood are ready and submitted to CDD for further design and printing. Marathi film released on screened at the hand of Collector Jalgaon Shri Krunal Kumar on 26 Nov 09. English film screened at Zambia conference which is “Evidence for Hope” (Promoting Sustainable Sanitation Solutions) by IIYW with BORDA and CDD Society. Eight sessions attended were clarity within INO and India group towards network level SANMAP approaches and methodologies which paved path for future WG deliberation. During the year 2009 first joint event on DESWAM with Exnora. International drafting of joint TOR was done and Coordination with water supply and sanitation department govt. of Maharashtra divisional Commissioner Nashik and Collector from Khandesh, Execution of Exhibition and regional Workshop organized at Jalgaon. Renowned SWM expects from NPCB and BARC participated and given their inputs. Presentation from Karnataka and Tamilnadu helped to explore PPP and Go-NGO CBO approaches which highlighted that people’s participation is only aspect which was important for SWM. A successful exhibition at National IIA convention at Nagpur displayed and dissemination of BORDA’s services for the visitors four meeting namely with a) Principal Secretary WSSD-GOM (27/04/09) b) Collector Jalgaon (18/07/09) and 27/11/09 c) Commissioner JMC( 18/07/09) d) Divisional Commissioner Nashik (18/11/09) was undertake. Three presentation along with three demo visits and exhibition of resource material are well managed by team. Proposal under Sujal, Nirmal Bharat Abhiyaan submitted to JMC The health impact analysis was successfully conducted at Rajendra Nagar and Sulokha Park in Kolhapur on 5th and 6th May 09. Five regular monitoring visits had been done by social staff of IIYW. Regular contents

FaFaFaFamily Counseling Center (Crime Branch)mily Counseling Center (Crime Branch)mily Counseling Center (Crime Branch)mily Counseling Center (Crime Branch) The family counseling centre was established on 2nd Oct 1995 in coordination of the crime branch, Nagpur. It is sponsored by Central Social Welfare Board, New Delhi and gets excellent support from the commissioner of police, with aims to provide free counseling and guidance, to build confidence among women/ victims for their social economic development and for solving the disputes as well as to aware women/ victim about existing law i.e protection of women against Domestic violence. The centre provides counseling and guidance in criminal cases of domestic violence referred from the police station in Nagpur. The family counseling centre is playing a vital role in saving the family unit and assisting families in their socio-economic development, through building self esteem among the victims as well as sensitizing them about the laws against domestic violence. Cases regarding domestic violence are referred by the police station Sadar and Gittikhadan social Security Wing (SSB), DCP officer of Crime Branch. Some cases are referred directly from Nagpur citizens and provide support and guidance to women and victims by our counselors.

This centre is doing excellent performance for the welfare of the needy and distressed women. Due to effective counseling, the number of compromised cases has been increased comparatively last year.

Total no. of cases registered in the year was 337 and among them 135 cases have been solved till now. 12 cases have been refereed to family court Five day workshop was organised in our institute on “Women Protection from Domestic Violence and Women Development” 37 women were participated in the program.

STI/HIV/AIDS Prevention Project: Kavach project:STI/HIV/AIDS Prevention Project: Kavach project:STI/HIV/AIDS Prevention Project: Kavach project:STI/HIV/AIDS Prevention Project: Kavach project: Kavach project for prevention and control of STI/HIV-AIDS among long distance truck drivers and helpers has been sponsored by Transport corporation of India Foundation. Goal of the project is to arrest the spread of vSTI/HIV among long distance truck driver. The major activities conducted under the Kavach project at Nagpur in Waddhamna and Pardi sites are as : a. Static clinic and 5 extension clinic at broker’s premises to treat STI

as well as general patients among truckers. b. Awareness programmes on STI-HIV-AIDS through exhibition,

street play, video show and infotainment. c. Interpersonal communication sessions conducted by key

population facilitators (truck drivers). d. Social marketing of Condoms. e. Community mobilization- C.B.O. of transporters, truckers and

other corporate are involved in the project activities. An Infotainment program was conducted for 1400 truck drivers and their helpers on 30th Oct 2009, at Jabalpur Transport premises at Waddhamana Nagpur. Different activities which were conducted during Infotainment were, best maintained truck competition, Sangeet smart competition, Arm wresting competition, Health camp Dance, Orchestra message on STI/HIV/AIDS and quiz etc. apart from Infotainment. In every month Health Camp is organised with specialist doctors. The different components of the project are as:

a. STI diagnosis and treatment. b. Peer led dialogue based interpersonal communication. c. Synchronized mid- media. d. Social marketing of condoms. e. Community mobilization and corporate involvement.

This project is doing excellent work. The institute received Gold Standard to achieve target in 2008.

STI/HIV/AIDS Awareness GenerationSTI/HIV/AIDS Awareness GenerationSTI/HIV/AIDS Awareness GenerationSTI/HIV/AIDS Awareness Generation Project for MigranProject for MigranProject for MigranProject for Migrantttt This project is being implemented in 4 sites 1) Cotton Market Thiya 2) Pratap nagar Thiya 3) Manewada Thiya, in Nagpur. 4) Tajbag Project is fully sponsored by AVERT Society Mumbai. The project target group is male and female migrant Labor, main goal of this project is to prevent and to further reduce risk of STI/HIV/AIDS by generating awareness and provide prevention services to migrant laborer as well as to initiate the network process of community base organization and different stake holders involved in prevention and control of HIV/AIDS. Activities of the project are based on four different component are as: 1. BCC 2. STI diagnosis and treatment 3. Social Marketing of condom 4. Community Mobilization. Total 10,000 Migrant population was the target for the year 2009-2010. Through the Ten ORW the targeted population reached out and every week the doctors visit the area and provide general STI consultations and referral services. The Counselor does the regular follow up of cases and conduct various mass programmes in the community, like Ganeshotasv, world AIDS day international Women’s day, and also conduct health camps. One to one and group discussion sessions are conducted to create awareness on STI/HIV/AIDS and to promote counseling for the effective use of condom and care of Health.

10. PREVENTION AND CONTROL ON STI/HIV AIDS AMONG PREVENTION AND CONTROL ON STI/HIV AIDS AMONG PREVENTION AND CONTROL ON STI/HIV AIDS AMONG PREVENTION AND CONTROL ON STI/HIV AIDS AMONG FEMALEFEMALEFEMALEFEMALE SEX WORKER (Non Brothel Based) in Nagpur Rural : This project is implemented from Jan. 2008 supported by Avert Society, Mumbai Nagpur Rural Non Brothel is central largest area with a total 1600 sex workers in five field area’s Kamptee, Koradi, Wadi, Pardi and Hingana. Main Goal of this project is to halt & reverse the prevalence HIV/AIDS among the female sex worker (FSW) population by providing quality services for sexual need’s in Nagpur rural. Through the outreach worker

the target population is reached out and referred to NGO doctor who is visiting each center once a week. We had reached 445 target population of these 10% are in the age group of 15-20, 75% are in the age group of 20-30 years and 15% are 30 years and above are unaware about HIV AIDS and STI, as a result a large number of them have underline STI/RTI and few of them are become HIV positive. Outcome of this programme is that 4 of the FSWs got tailoring machines for their livelihood purpose. We had conducted monthly peer meeting on 26th March 2010 and some day have taken we a step ahead for rehabilitation of one of the KP by giving her Sewing Machine by the hand of Ms Anna Joy, Project Director, AVERT Society Mumbai and Shri Manohar Golpelwar Secretary IIYW in the presence of Ms Amita Abhichandani, Programme officer & Mr Nitin

Bhowate, District Manager, AVERT Society, Mumbai and Vijaya Shah, Director, IIYW. Ms Ana Joy spoke with the peer educator about their problem in the society, their work, further discussion held about condom distribution and demonstration. All peers activity participated in discussion.

11. Child Rights for Change Project at AkolaChild Rights for Change Project at AkolaChild Rights for Change Project at AkolaChild Rights for Change Project at Akola : Initiated July 2009 for strengthening Child Rights to prevent child labour, Supported by Save the Children, Bal Raksha Bharat. The primary stakeholders of this project are Children and their families in the targeted area. Core areas of intervention are as:

Child ProtectionChild ProtectionChild ProtectionChild Protection : To significantly reduce child labour through effective community based child protection interventions enabling working children to come out of exploitative child labour. To strengthen civil society networks to bolster implementation of CLPRA and bring about progressive changes in policies against exploitative child labour in the agricultural sector. Inclusive Education :

• Chidren (3-6 years old) acquire quality pre-school readiness skills.

• Ensure a quality learning environment for primary school children.

• Ensure migrant child labourers are withdrawn from work to access appropriate educational or vocational Programmes.

Women Empowerment

• Ensure that women from Below Poverty Line (BPL) household, access adequate and appropriate sources of income to protect and promote children’s rights.

Preventative Health

• Ensure adolescent girls and women, particularly working in cotton fields, reduce cotton field related illness.

Child Rights Week had been celebrated during 14 to 20th November 2009 through organizing various Programme at 46 villages, to generate awareness among villages ingeneral and parent and children inperticular about child right Parents and children were provided information about Child Rights. In this child Rights week Programme got specific resource persons of their own subjects and Teachers, Principal, Doctors, ANM, Sarpanch, Police Patil, Gramsevak, AWW, Sub-Sabhapati (Panchayat Sammitti), key person of village and Govt. officials. NREGA Campaign was conducted in 85 villages in Akola and Murtizapur blocks on 08 to 15 February 2010 to aware villagers about scheme through Moble Van, Dawandi, Wall painting, distribute handbills, ward meeting and Gram-Sabha, Collector, Akola and Gramsevak and Sarpanch gave us excellent support to conduct campaign and result is 235 No. of job cards distributed, 2730 No of people applied for job cards and 4339 No. of people applied for work at Akola and Murtizapur Block.

In all, the institute has 1800 SHGs as the result of mother headed family project in Nagpur city, Gadchiroli, Chandrapur, Yeotmal district. Most of them have been linked with the banks. Some of the members have started their income generation activities like dairy, Mess, Farming in group, papad, spices, chalk and candle making, tailoring, beauty parlour, Grocery and utensil and cloth and readymade dress material shop, samosa and chiwda for restaurants. Through the internal lending, they fulfill their small needs and during the meeting every month, they also discuss issues and topics like children’s education, family problems and health etc. they take active part in social activities. Life insurance scheme has been introduced to the SHG members at Nagpur and about 300 are taking benefits of it to secure their future.

Around 20-30 children between the age group come in each Balwadi. Children play and sing in a group together. They are assigned individual and group work which gives them exposure. Through Balwadi health and education services are provided more focus is given an language, Social, emotional, Physical, Psychological , and cognitive development of the children through singing, dancing, drawing, craft, story telling, games, clay work, exposure visit, picnic as well as other creative activities are conducted. Learning by doing technique is used in Balwadi teaching material like puzzles, clay, manoras, mani, charts, toys are used by trained and skilled teachers. Every year children’s Day’ on 14th Nov. is celebrated through organizing various programmes for the children and by the children.

In this one month shibir, singing, dancing, drawing, craft, storytelling, picnic, and other creative activities are conducted. Children get chance to express their opinion and thoughts. This shibir has proved very successful for the capacity building of the children. Community children enjoy this shibir very much. Before Bal Sanskar Shibir volunteers attend a three day course at the institute. The young people come on their own. They are guided by the institute staff.

Center has good infrastructure facilities. Training hall, hostel, mess and dining hall facilities are in the institute building. There is a farmers training center and used by the other NGOs conduct their training program for women, youth, worker and farmers. It is active since 1988 and organize job and refresher training for Anganwadi workers and helpers who work at grass root level to provide ICDS services to the target group woman and child. Attention is given to confidence building and capacity building in Anganwadi workers and helpers. Three job training batches and 19 refresher training batches have been conducted. Total 890 Anganwadi workers received training.

Balwadi : It is run at Shivara village since 1991 for children between age group between 3 to 6 years old. 25 to 30 children are enrolled every year and focus is given on the overall development of the children technique Learning by doing and playing is adopted for the development of children. Tailoring class: There is two type of course one is for six month and other one is for 3 month, this course promote self employment among women, hence house wives take more advantage of the course are trained through on institute. Backward Region Grant fund (BRGF): This program is supported by Dist. Rural development Agencies Yavatmal to achieve objectives are as: to bridge the gap of development and to provide information and knowledge to gram panchayat members for the development of villages through implementing various Govt. scheme through Gram panchayat. We conduct 10 batches of training for people who are working for village development with the villages for example Sarpanch, Upsarpanch and members of Gram panchayats, Patwari, agriculture officer, Forest officers and others and total 370 trainees received training. Women’s Co-operative society: it was establish in 2002 to provide economic support to women. 458 poor women are shareholders and at present capital amount is of Rs. 60,206/- as well as 198 women received loan to meet their needs and business purpose. Self Help Groups: This center has 850 SHGs of women and 150 male. Center orgnised various program and training for SHGs for examples, skill training to start earning, nutrition, health and personal hygiene and environment etc as well as we promote organic forming in villages and among SHGs members.

There are coordinators of RCH programme and are 10 indicators of RCH programme and we reach to the community through FNGO beginning of the project we have to complete the base line survey in under served area and after that com----- project proposal submit to the Govt. and them actually start the program, under MNGO & FNGOs are selected and trained them on RCH Indicator, BLS and various govt. schemes. These FNGO are working in Etapalla B,Gad, synchs & Dhanora block, in the respective under served area’s like Kasamsur, M,Rajura Zinganor & Murumgam. The FNGO respectively shakuntala memorial trust, samts, Nagrik Arogya Raksha Sastha & Ekata S.s. Sansthan are doing a prepaprg work in RCH under MNGO scheme. The institute has its own building land there. It has formed 21 SHGs, 16 Mahila mandals and 13 youth clubs in the village. There was a training course on SHGS during the year and also HIV/AIDS awareness program. Personality development, leadership, water and sanitation programmes had been conducted. It had 18 village balwadis and women programmes take care of overall development of children and women empowerment. All the programmes are conducted by the resource person from the institute.

Monitoring and training of the SHGs along wit supervision is done by the institute workers. There are about 50 SHGS. Every month, there is a meeting in Nagpur to assess the development of the area. The work is supervised by supervisors in 2009-2010 women have done tailoring class and 15 women have don beauty culture course and heena course as well as training for women SHG had been organized to strengthen of SHGs and capacity building of women.

Dwarkadasji Lohia-Manav Lok,Ambajogai with lighting the traditional lamp. During this ceremony a hymn from Rigveda: Asato ma sat gamaya…. was recited by Mrs. Bhardwaj. Later the chief guests and other dignitaries including the Founder President of IIYW Dr. Madhukarji Wasnik, Mr. Manoharji Golpelwar- Founder Secretary of IIYW were given warm welcome by giving a bouquet. Then Mr. Manohar Golpelwar welcomed all the participants in the program. After that Mr. Dwarkadasji Lohiya released the Souvenir of the organization and distributed the copies among the dignitaries present on the dice. An Introductory talk was followed by the Director –IIYW Mrs. Vijaya Shah. She told that a small seed of social work was sown by Mr. Golpelwar in 1973, 35 years ago and now it turned up into a monster tree of youth development in central part of India. The activities of IIYW are spread in 5 districts of Vidarbha and one district in Madhya Pradesh. She highlighted the vision, mission and multi faceted activities of IIYW. The core activities of IIYW are Training and Capacity Building of Youth, Vocational Training, Mother Headed Family Program, Prevention of HIV/AIDS, Mother & Child Health and many more. While sharing the views of the chief guests, Mr. Lohiya told that Mr. Manohar Golpelwar has fully dedicated his entire life for human development. Many are still not aware about the correct concept of development. He narrated the story of four blinds and one elephant to explain the clear notion of development. He told development is nothing but “capacity building of people”. He further quoted the statement of Annasaheb Sahastrabudhe: “Development is Liberation”. Then Dr. Madhukar Wasnik articulated his views that: “This is the celebration of evaluating the 34 years work of IIYW. This is the great achievement of single man effort of Manohar Golpelwar. I am very happy to see it” Later Mrs. Banamala Shastri spoke that the growth of this organization may not be a single man effort but it is the perpetual endeavor of team work. She specified the 3 characteristics of IIYW i.e. secular, democratic and commitment which is the potency of IIYW. After that the guests and dignitaries were honored with giving a memento and rose. The prominent guests were: Mrs. John Madame, Mr. Lanjewar, Mrs. Shahina, Mr. Mukund Kulkarni, Mr. Tajnekar, Mr. Sathe. Mr. Sudhakar Ramteke, Mr. Ashitosh Prabhawalkar, Mr. Vilas Shende and others. would be distributed among poor farmers of Gadchiroli to multiply the same as Seed Bank. The name of the seed was given: Manohar Paddy.

Then Mr. Mendulkar and his team from IRDP Ralegaon honored the couple Mr & Mrs Golpelwar with presenting a silver idol of SriGanesh and Kumkum Karanda. At this occasion the couple Mr. & Mrs Madhukar Wasnik was also honored by offering Shal Srifal and a silver chariot. The other NGOs and individuals also presented garlands and gifts to these couples as a token of respect and honor for their outstanding work. Later Mr. Lohiya of Manav Lok Ambajogai inaugurated the Exhibition of IIYW by cutting the ribbon. The various 16 different departments of IIYW equipped the stalls with audio-visual aids to display the activities and achievements of the respective department. After that the ex-staff of IIYW were honored by giving a memento and rose. The prominent recipients were: Mr. Gharote, Mamta Zumde, Manohar Singnapure, Jyoti Gujar, Pornima Bagde, Vijay Ghuble, Venkat Bagde and others. The other recipients of honor were: Ashmi Urade, Mrs. Maulikar, Tatya Kamble, Jitendra Kumar, Rajabhau Chitnis, Ashutosh Ptabhvalkar, Dr. Kundawar, Kalpana Jamgade, Mr. Joshi, Mr. Parekh, Mr.Mukund Kulkarni, Mrs. Shahanawaz and babasahebh Bhosale. Later, the Tamia group presented the spectacular tribal group dance by which all the participants enchanted and enjoyed from it. After that all the participants were given oath on Social Responsibility as a citizen of India. During the last session of the day the following heads of the department presented the activities and achievement by power point:

Mrs. Mamta-TCIF Kavach Project 7. Mrs. Meenakshi Shingade- MLTC 8. Mr. Vijay Takey-Vikas Kendra Chandrapur. All the heads presented the major activities of the department and achievements which illuminates the glory of IIYW.

During evening hours from 6 PM to 8PM all the participants immensely enjoyed assortment of cultural program which was anchored by Mr. Prakash Shukla.

Day Two: (24-11-2009): The celebration of the day began with a community prayer lead by Mrs. Bhardwaj. Later the chief guests of the day were invited on the dice and welcomed them with giving a bouquet. They were Mrs. Sumatitai Chitle, Mr. Sada Vijay Arya, Mr. Manohar Golpelwar, Mr. Karimji David, Mr. Babasaheb Sunkar and Mrs. Vijaya Shah. While responding to the honor the chief guests expressed their views as follow: Mrs. Lilatai Chitale: Today’s celeberation event is for joy and inspiration for all of us. Since last 35 years the organization is striving hard for the youth development. This is the time now to retrospect the work of past and it is the accountability of the contemporary generation to accomplish the remaining mission of IIYW. Mr. Karimji David: I got inspiration from Mr. Manohar Golpelwar saying that “people will know you not by name but by your work”. He also told me that “If we want to bring any change in society only the young blood can do that and not any scientists” Therefore my life is changed because of Mr. Manohar Golpelwar. Even if I got opportunities to get high profiled job in abroad, I left it. Mr. Babasaheb Sunkar : It was our group of think tank and we discuss many social issues and resolve them collectively. I got lot of inspirations and learned many things from Mr. Manohar Golpelwar. Mr. Sada Vijay Arya: I learned very important thing from Mr. Golpelwar i.e. how to listen carefully from others. He trained many great social scientists in India. While talking on Development and NGOs Mr. Arya explained development at 3 component i.e. Physical, Spiritual and Social. He stressed NGOs to become self reliance and not to depend on government or external aid. He narrated 3 stories on this aspect to understand the realistic scenario in India. Later the General Manager of Maharshtra Bank,Nagpur Mr. Pande informed the various short term vocational training programs for the youth free of cost like photography, mobile repairing, tailoring , beauty parlor etc. All the eligible youth were requested to make use of the opportunity for self employment. Mr. Sunil Ramteke-Save the Child, Akola All the above presenters narrated their various activities and achievements of the department in their respective area. After that the ex-staff, present key staff and outstanding staff of IIYW were honored by giving a memento and rose. They were: Lata Kamath, Chanda Shende, Dhudraj Uparikar, Esther Ireland (still working since past 30 years), Shalu Pachpute(still working since past 30 years), Manohar Hepat-IRDP Gadchiroli, Vijay Takey-IRDP Chandrapur, PD Mendulkar-IRDP Ralegaon, Raju Urkude-IRDP Tamia, Mr. Dekate-SHG Coordinator-Bela, Mr. Gedam-Katol, Meenakshi Singade-MLTC Lonara, Jaishree Bhardwaj-AWTC Lonara, Ram Kamthe-VTP Lonara, Mr. Kolhe-ADM-IIYW, Sulochana Gedam-CLC, Smita Puranik-Avert Migrants, Varsha Pagale-Avert-Non Brothel, Bhimrao Rangari-IDARA, Hatangale-DEWATS, Uttam Sable-Accounts, Usha Madame-PA to Secretary, Sudhakar Dhakulkar, Rajendra Meshram, Sunil Ramteke, Akola, Saroj Shende-Family Counseling Centre, Sheela Tirpude -Family Counseling Centre and Indirabai Dohone. Mr. Tajnekar expressed his appreciation regarding the excellent arrangement and management of the program by the staff of IIYW. Concluding Session: During this last session Mr. Madhukar Wasnik, the founder President of IIYW and the Chairperson of the function told that Mr. Manohar Golpelwar dedicated his entire life for the growth of IIYW. He never got angry on anyone and he approach people with a smile. His work is far greater than a saintly person. While giving reply to the assembly the main celebrity Mr. Manohar Golpelwar stated that you are my friends. This achievement is yours. That’s why this work is on going. I pray God to continue this work in the near future. Later Mrs. Vijaya Shah,Director –IIYW gave vote of thanks to each and every one for their valuable cooperation and support. The program ended with National Anthem. All the participants enjoyed the delicious lunch and left the Lonara campus with lot of joy, inspiration and enthusiasm. The whole two days program was jointly anchored by Mr. Rajendra Meshram and Jaishree Bhardwaj efficiently and effectively.
