The Annual Quality Assurance Report (AQAR) of the IQAC
All NAAC accredited institutions will submit an annual self-reviewed progress report to NAAC, through
its IQAC. The report is to detail the tangible results achieved in key areas, specifically identified by the

- IQAC is focusing on Faculty Encouragement for Research development.
- IQAC is also focusing on revision of teaching and improvement of students’ results at University
exam.
- IQAC has completed the procedure for appointment permanent of Principal in the college. The
Interview was done and the new Principal has been appointed on 10/12/2016 in the college.
- Four faculties have been granted for higher scale by completing the procedure of API suggested by
UGC. One faculty has submitted API at the beginning of the academic year and IQAC is
examining/analyzing the API under UGC guidelines.

enhancement and the outcome achieved by the end of the year *
Plan of Action Achievements
According to analysis of last three years
University exam results of students, IQAC
is noting stable and good improvement.
This year also, IQAC has focused on
revision of teaching and improvement of
students’ results at University exam.
Process for appointment of Permanent
principal in the college has been
undertaken by Government, University
and college.
As per plan of action put on last year, This
year:
College IQAC has projected to sign MOU
with business industries for promotion of
college students knowledge in research
and production area. The industries will
also be benefited by the knowledge and
support of our reputed faculties.
IQAC of the college is looking for
upliftment of rural area colleges. In favour
to do so we have planned to sign MOU
with rural area colleges for the exchange
of research, knowledge, teaching and
learning process all the way amongst
students and faculties.
This year 1% and 2% improvement in
distinction and First class students compared to
last year at final year university exams. Over all
result of the final year students’ passing ratio
reached to 50% this year. This is in high
proportion compare to last year.
College has received new permanent Principal
under new API system of UGC. This is hard
work and efforts of IQAC of the college.
Our college has signed MOU under supervision
of IQAC with M.N. Science college, Patan.
Students and Faculty exchange program and
knowledge sharing in research area is the motto
of the MOU.
Our college has also signed MOU with the
chemical industrial association of Ahmedabad
for students support towards real time research
and production based knowledge. Also industrial
personals will be able to receive knowledge of
our esteem faculties.
Faculties' have presented their research papers in
National and International conferences include
Abroad visit under UGC Travel grant.
Three faculties of the college have completed
their Ph.D.
Students groups are participating in University
cultural competition. Group of students had
participated in Science Congress.

Tree plantation, clean campus programe has been launched under NSS group of the college
Student result at university exams have been improved at large.
About 40% faculties have started their research work.
Students have been motivated for Sports and cultural activity. In support with Alumni association the college has organized University level Badminton tournament.
Number of students enrollment is increasing every year that show good demand of this college in the online admission system of the university.
Our college is the first science college in the state who has appointed permanent principal under new API system of UGC.
IQAC coordinator of the college is giving his esteem guidance and share his experience voluntarily to other colleges of the state in the procedure of “API calculation” for appointment of Principal .
