• Boulder rainfall records smashed!(9.08” in 24 hours, 17.15” for the week)
• Many employees affected—homes damaged, commuting routes blocked, other impacts
• UCAR is supporting our staff through online help exchange, leave donation program, Employee Assistance Program
• Direct impact on our facilities:

documenting record rains, modeling the meteorology and hydrology, analyzing the causes, translating for media

• NSF has extended the term of the agreement for five years—from October 2013 through September 2018.
• New annual proposal audit process for NCAR (UCP is now exempt)

being finalized. On hold during the government shutdown.
