Cumberland Co. Farmers' Market
Pop Club invites kids, up to the age of 18, toparticipate in the activities and sample different
foods at the Cumberland County Farmers'Market.
A voucher to the Cumberland County Farmers'Market will be awarded to each kid who
completes the activity and/or sample. Oneparent/guardian per family that brings a child to
participate in POP Club will receive a voucher.
Taste of Summer
August 3rd8 am - 10 am
Cumberland Co. Farmers' Market
The Cumberland County Extension Office invitesthe community to a taste of summer at the
Cumberland County Farmers' Market.Participants will sample a recipe that featuressummer time produce. Those who sample the
recipe will receive a free item. The first 20participants to sample the recipe, will receive a
basket of ingredients to prepare at home.
Participants who complete the program will beentered in a drawing (cookware set) that will be
held at the end of August.

Passport Contest: The KEHACultural Arts and Heritage
Passport will be offered on anannual basis. The county who
records the most events, based onthe percentage of members will be
awarded $100.00 and a TravelTrophy at the annual meeting.
Passports can be picked up at the
Extension Office at the frontdesk.

It includes ingenious notions to try with your friends.Our Towns: A 100,000-Mile Journey into the Heart of America by James Fallous; Deborah Fallous (2018) –The authors have been touring small and mid-size towns and cities within the United States that fell onhard times and then bounced back: asking questions, taking notes and reporting back on (mostly) positivestuff.

Homemaker Dues:The Cumberland County Extension Office will start collecting Homemakerdues in September for the 2019-2020 year. Like last year, we encourageeveryone to fill out the form below when turning in dues. This form will alsobe available at the front desk.
Everyone who pays dues in the month of September, will be entered in adrawing for a gift basket with a lot of goodies. Thank you CathySlowick for putting together the gift basket!
