COVID ANNOUNCEMENT

UKSCA’S ANNUAL CONFERENCE 1–2 August 2020

As we do not know whether some or all of the current Covid-19 lockdown and isolation measures will still be in place at the beginning of August, we are continuing with our plans to run our annual conference from 1-2 August 2020, along with our pre-conference event on Friday 31 July 2020.

We have explored the option of postponing the event to a later date where there may be more certainty, however, this isn’t financially viable. The key reason being that the venue are holding us to the contract we signed last year. If there are no lockdowns or travel restrictions in place that weekend, the conference will go ahead.

We are currently communicating with speakers and are pulling together a revised programme which we will publish soon, but all being well, we are looking forward to welcoming and running another great event for our members.

If we do have to cancel or postpone the conference, we will of course offer a full refund to any members who have already booked as well as priority booking for the new date.
