The Southern Florida Minority Supplier Development Council (SFMSDC) is the local affiliate of the National Minority Supplier Development Council, which is the nation’s largest third party certification organization for minority owned buwsinesses. SFMSDC’s goal is to increase purchasing from minority businesses by government entities and corporations, while increasing minority businesses operating capacity through hands-on business assistance, training, and access to technology and capital resources. The Council acts as a liaison between Corporate

America and Minority Business Enterprises serving the tricounty area.

The Florida Women Business Development Council (FWBDC) is the local regional partner of the Women’s Business Enterprise National Council, which is the nation’s leading advocate and third party certifier of women owned businesses. The mission of the FWBDC is to assist in the establishment and growth of women in business. The Council

promotes and fosters relationships between women owned businesses, corporations and government organizations. Through its programs, the FWBDC enhances opportunities and develops skill and knowledge for women owned businesses throughout the state of Florida.
