OVERVIEW

Last year Entrenuity made the leap in expanding it’s initial youth-based entrepreneurship focus to a broader, adult-based entrepreneurial construct. The core thrust remains to teach entrepreneurship to future business owners using StartingUp Now (SUN), a curriculum designed to teach business plan development and business ownership fundamentals to future entrepreneurs. It’s also used to train individuals to teach the art of entrepreneurship through youth business camps and adult courses. By “training the trainer” Entrenuity extends it’s reach, increasing entrepreneurial participation and success while positively impacting communities, schools, churches and prisons.

In 2016, Entrenuity launched mox.E, the first co-work sharing space in Chicago’s South Loop and The Duncan Legacy Fund, a capital investment arm to help launch or grow existing businesses. The aim, to provide professional development for African-American and Latino entrepreneurial business owners. mox.E is the next step past Starting Up Now, providing access to top business owners to coach entrepreneurs through business challenges while connecting entrepreneurs to share experiences and successes. As a result, Entrenuity has:

• Launched Skillcenter 2.0 on Box.com platformwith Business Plan Template and Financial Tools

• Launched mox.E, Entrenuity's new co-sharing work space, offering coaching connecting and capitalizing for minority entrepreneurs
