Do you know people who work at a food pantry, clothing closet, or outreach ministry to the poor?

This is the workshop to equip caring servants who minister to the disenfranchised, and underprivileged.

This program will be held at Peace Lutheran Church in Beavercreek on Saturday, May 31, from 9:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. The cost of registration is $8.00 per person to cover the cost of a box lunch.

The East Dayton Cluster invites you and anyone who is interested, to attend a program entitled, “Bridges out of Poverty.” Sally Padgett from First English Lutheran Church in Columbus will be the presenter.

Adult Sunday School The adult Sunday school class is studying the Bible with the video series "Stuff they didn't teach me in Sunday School". Join us at 9:30 between services in the library.

VBSVacation Bible School is coming this summer. July 21 – 25, 6 to 8:30 pm. Weird Animals! Don’t miss out on the fun!!

Not everyone remembers your name. We encourage everyone to wear their name tags. It helps not only our

visitors, but all of us to put a name to a face.

Kroger Plus CardKroger's will make a donation to Calvary

Lutheran Church for every purchase you make with your Kroger Plus Card. This does not cost

you anything!! You get the same deals and coupons, but Kroger will donate a small

percentage of your bill to the church. Small percents add up if we all sign up. You must do this once a year to renew. Please log on now

and update your account.

Preparation for First Communion classes begins Sunday, June 15* during the Sunday School hour at 9:30 a.m. and continues each Sunday through July 6.

We will meet in the Conference Room.

All youth who are eight years old and up are invited to participate, along with their parent(s) or guardian(s).

Our next Free Community Meal is scheduled for Sunday May 18th, 12:30PM-2:30PM. Weather permitting; we hope to have a cook out. Volunteers are essential to making this

event a success, please contact Karol Specht, phone 740- 703 -0087 or email at [email protected] if you can assist with cooking, clean up, serving, or have a food item to donate. Thank you!

Reminder – This is a community meal. Members of the congregation are encouraged to stay and eat and to invite others!

SUMMER TIME!Mowing time has come, and all that goes with it. We need to keep the outside of our property looking good. Mowing has started and continues every week. Along with mowing and trimming we will soon have potted flowers that will need watering everyday and flower beds that need weeded and mulched. We are looking for people that like to get their hands dirty to help us out. You can volunteer for any of these jobs on-line from our website.
