Paper 5 SURVEY METHODS & REPORT WRITING (50+50)

The paper is compulsory and will be taught to the students who have got some good and handful

knowledge of basic sociological aspects and are ready to implement the concepts into the real world.

The paper has been divided into two parts; one is theory and other is practical. The theory aspect will

cover the methods of writing a report and then the student will be asked to work on any special problem

of his/her area or area of interest. Afterwards, the student will present the whole scenario in a shape of

report and this report will be presented to the expert and peers. This practical knowledge will not only

give hands on experience to the students but also add a value into the sociological work that is already

getting much popularity in Pakistan. The recommendation is that expert should be invited from the
