Description:

Investment and Cross-Border Services A concession is required for providing public transportation services. For the granting of a concession for freight transport is required, in the case of a natural person, to be a Mexican national and be domiciled in the State. In the case of an enterprise, that all its shareholders or partners be Mexican nationals by birth, and that the enterprise be constituted pursuant to the laws of the country. In the case of Mexican nationals, losing the Mexican nationality is a cause of revocation, and in the case of Mexican enterprises, when they cease to be constituted as referred. The Mexican nationals or enterprises that request a route permit for the exploitation of the public transportation services shall be of Mexican nationality.
