Bangladesh BangladeshJustice MD. TOFAZZAL ISLAM is a former Judge of the High Court Division of the Supreme Court of Bangladesh. He was appointed as a Judge to the High Court Division ofthe Supreme Court of Bangladesh on 23 February 1997. He retired from the High CourtDivision on 24 January 2008. Presently, he serves as Chairman of Arbitral Tribunal to resolve the international commercial disputes and member of several Tribunals. Mr. Md. Awlad Ali was enrolled as a pleader under the High Court of Judicature of the then EastPakistan (presently Bangladesh) in 1965. He became a member of Dhaka District Bar Association in January 1966. He was enrolled as an Advocate of the Supreme Court ofBangladesh and became member of the Supreme Court Bar Association in March 1973.He was enrolled as a Senior Advocate of the Appellate Division of the Supreme Court of Bangladesh in January 1995. Prof. MAURO POLITI has been a full professor of International law at the University ofTrento since 1990. Prior to this, and since 1976, he had taught at the Universities ofCagliari and Urbino. As Legal Adviser to the Permanent Mission of Italy to the UnitedNations (1992-2001), he participated actively in the negotiation process that lead to theadoption of the Rome Statute of the International Criminal Court. He was also Chairmanof the VI (legal) Committee of the U.N. General Assembly (2000-2001). During his judicial career (1969-1983), he was a judge at the Tribunals of Oristano and Milan. He was alsoDeputy Prosecutor at the Juvenile Court of Milan. In 2001, he was elected by the U.N.General Assembly to be on the list of ad litem judges of the International CriminalTribunal for the former Yugoslavia. He was a judge of the International Criminal Court(2003-2009). Mr. ZAKARIA AL-ANSARI is the Assistant Undersecretary in the Ministry of Justice andLegal Affairs in the State of Kuwait and the Secretary General of the Supreme Committeeof Human Rights. Mr. Al-Ansari represented the State of Kuwait in various UnitedNations Organizations and participated in numerous legal, international and regionalconferences. Moreover, he also represented Kuwait in negotiations of legal, judicial,bilateral and collective agreements, including negotiations of bilateral agreements onlegal and judicial cooperation, negotiations of the GCC agreements. He has contributed tothe development of the enactment of a number of projects and models of law within thescope of the GCC as well as the Arab League. Mr. Al-Ansari was granted his Bachelor in Law by Alexandria University in 1992. He also participated at a legal session on MutualLegal Assistance at Oxford University. Furthermore, he received a qualification by theWorld Intellectual Property Organization in 2002 (WIPO-2002).

Dr. MANSOUR FARAJ AL-SAEED is currently the Assistant Undersecretary of LegalAffairs in the Ministry of Commerce and Industry. Moreover, Dr. Alhamidah obtained his Ph.D. in Law from Manchester University in 2001 and acquired his LLM in 1998 from HarvardLaw School.
