The magical qualities of Seabuckthorn have been known for centuries throughout Europe and Asia, serving as both a skin care remedy and a nutritional supplement with excellent restorative qualities.

Traditionally, it was used to promote healing of skin injuries and to improve the condition of mucous membranes in the gastro-intestinal tract. It’s botanical name Hippophae “shiny horse” also gives an insight as to how the ancient Greeks used it as a nutritional supplement for race horses.

The berries of this shrub are rich in the vitamins and nutrients associated with skin regeneration.

They contain over 100 different nutrients, bioactive substances including phytosterols, water soluble vitamins such as B1, B2, C, K, P and Folic acid, oil soluble vitamins such as A and E, EFA (80-95% essential fatty acids), free amino acids, alpha and beta carotenes, Lycopene and Zeaxanthin which contributes to the rich golden orange color of the berries and the oil. A semi-fluid facial gel based on the exfoliating property of Alpha Hydroxy Acids. Extracts of Aloe, Echinacea, Chamomile and Cucumber intensify skin hydration minimizing potential irritation due to the presence of AHA’s.AHA lotion significantly enhances skin’s rejuvenation during the use of Golden Marine Scrub due to improved exfoliation. Scientific research has demonstrated that correct concentrations of these acids within a highly hydrating vehicle will reduce sun damage, hyperpigmentation and even wrinkles during the process of skin renewal.

This exfoliating scrub is based on a unique blend of marine ingredients and plant seeds that act as mild abrasives within a herbal emollient base.Golden Marine Scrub is activated by the addition of water or Revitalizing AHA Lotion. Directions for Use: Step I: Apply a small amount to both cheeks, forehead and chin. Spread Golden Marine Scrub to the rest of your face with small circularmassage movements with your fingertips until only very fine particles are felt in the product (1-2 minutes). Concentrate on problem areas, impurities and blackheads. Step II: LIGHT (For Sensitive Skin): Moisten your fingertips with gradual addition of water and prolong the massage for two more minutes. The grainy particles will readily dissolve to form a soft creamy gel. Step III: STRONG (For Normal Skin): Replace water with Revitalizing AHA Lotion and use according to the directions above. Further addition of Revitalizing AHA Lotion will fully dissolve the product. Finally, rinse off thoroughly leaving your skin feeling perfectly smooth and radiant.

Note: Users with very tender skin, which tends to easily redden, should avoid any mechanical rubbing or use of scrubs altogether.However, Golden Marine Scrub may be used on gentle skin starting with Step II LIGHT.

The liveliest part of the face is the eye contour area. Being particularly gentle and vunerable, it requires special care that is not necessarily related to a specific skin type. Anna Lotan has developed a variety of innovative products for the eye area. The skin around the eye is the thinnest of all, especially sparse in sebaceous glands and therefore susceptible to developing wrinkles and expression lines. To prevent premature wrinkles, it is best to support the barrier function in this area by using moisture binding formulations to slow down water loss and minimizing or eliminating the use of emulsifiers.Alternatively, the eye contour area may develop puffiness due to excess fluids accumulated under the eyes. To reduce puffiness, it is recommended to use non-occlusive formulations which contain "lifting" components and herbal astringents that exert a gentle, firming effect on the skin.The product line includes a special "under makeup" cream formulated to "fillin" wrinkles, which is excellent for makeup users.
