ANIMALS IN MEDICAL RESEARCH

At the moment is legal in all the countries that have a special permission to do this , although there are arguments both for and against this practice.

One of the arguments for use animals in medical research is that thanks to them we have vaccines for diseases that will be able to be mortal, also animals can be use in the army like in 2008 , USA used live pigs to study the effects of explosions on internal organs, especially the brain.

On the other hand, some animal rights and animal welfare organization like PETA and BUAV , question the legitimacy of it, arguing that it is cruel, poor scientific practice and poorly regulated.

All in all , I’m in favour of animals in medical research because if it were not for them we don’t have vaccines against mortal disseases.
