Animals
There are two types of animals:
Invertebrate and vertebrate animals.

Invertebrates
Invertebrates are the animals that do not have backbone
For example: ant, spider

Vertebrates
Vertebrates are the animals that have backbone
For example: tiger

How animals are born?
Oviparous: they are born from eggs.
Viviparous: they are born from their mother’s body

Vertebrate animals can be classified in 5 main groups:Mammals (dog, cow, people)Birds (eagle, sea gull, parrot)Fish (tuna fish, shark)Reptiles (snake, lizard, crocodile)Amphibians (frog, salamander)

Molluscs (octopus, mussels, prawns, oysters)Anthropods. They can be insects (flies, bees)

Plants
Plants are living things. They make their own food and they reproduce.They have stems, leaves and roots.

Types of plantsTrees: They have trunk and branches .Trees can be evergreen or deciduous.
Bushes: they have a hard stem and branches. They growclose to the ground.
Grasses have a soft stem. They are thin and flexible.
