The MarketDue to its continuous growth Turkey´s agriculture and food processing industry has reached a considerable level. Turkey belongs to the top 10 pro-ducers of agricultural products worldwide having become an important and attractive market for trade and investment. More than 40 % of the agricultu-ral areas are used as sowing area.
The main cultivation products are wheat, fruits, barley and vegetables. The poultry production amounts to 1,9 million tons and, thus, is the most impor-tant sector in livestock husbandry.
Owing to the low production costs, its favourable geographical location and climate conditions, Turkey provides good conditions for its agricultural sec-tor allowing for a wide variety of agricultural products. Therefore, Turkey has turned into one of the emerging exporters of agricultural products.
The ExhibitionFollowing the example of Euro Tier in Hanover the international livestock and dairy industry exhibition Animall Antalya will takes place this year for the fourth time in the region of Antalya.
Animall Antalya is a specialised exhibition for modern technologies and products from the area of livestock as for example feeding and feed addi-tives, milking- and cooling technology, barn and transport equipments.
Also areas stand like aquaculture, gas and renewable energy in the cen-tre of the fair.
