The ACTF is proud to present Animalia: Primary Teaching Resource DVD-ROM for early and middle primary students which explores the concepts of Civics and Citizenship, Values and Identity. The teaching resource uses content from the highly acclaimed Animalia TV series, produced by Burberry Productions, which is based on Graeme Base’s best selling book of the same name. Animalia features innovative CGI graphics, action packed storylines and animal characters that ooze personality. Animalia’s greatest asset is that every aspect of the show, from its witty banter and clever storylines to its stunning animated locale is as much educational as it is entertaining for children aged 6–12 years. The episodes explore topics and processes that are fundamental protocols of government, relationships and communication. Because of this excellent content, Animalia was an obvious choice to use for the development of a teaching resource.
