I structured my speech using questions. I think I could maybe make my speech a bit longer, and re-organize my paragraphs.

I think my Opening caught the classes attention, but I could improve by using more questions and expressing myself more. I need to put more passion into my speech.

My paragraphs were big enough, but I think I could improve and make my paragraphs longer and more detailed. I need to make my paragraphs longer and more organized.

I loved writing the speech and put quite a bit of detail about Testing, how we can help, why we should stop testing, and how we can stop animals dying from disease. I could use a bit more detail though.

I think I explained my arguments well, but I could do better.I needed a better call to action, to get people on their feet and doing something about my subject.

I think I could have improved the delivery of my speech by speaking louder, and slowing down, and looking the audience’s eyes.

2. After watching everyone’s speech, what were some things that stood out in your mind?

After watching everyone’s speech, I thought that some people were being very quiet, and fast, and they needed to relax.

3. How did you prepare for the speech? I prepared for my speech by practicing whenever I had spare time, and

memorizing everything slowly.

4. What were two things that you think were ‘fantastic’ about your speech?

I think that the way I wrote my speech really helped and made my speech “fantastic”.

5. How do you feel about giving speeches? Doing speeches isn’t so bad when other people do it as

well. Doing it alone is very embarrassing.
