Background
• Angus falls service and dementia liaison team had noted that level of physical activity was low in care homes.
• ‘Make every moment’ count resource launched.

Aims
To increase levels of physical activity for older people living in Angus care Homes.
To provide opportunities for community engagement.
What we did
Go for gold - learning event where we first thought to develop our event to include generations working together.
Key representatives from all partner agencies met on a monthly basis to plan and organise the event.

Outcomes
100 % answered yes to organising another event.
75% said they were very confident about organising physical activities.
25% said they were quite confident
Comments - what worked
My favourite bit was the wellies
We enjoyed making friends with everyone and having fun together
Were coming back next year.
