angry bird error

I use windows 7 (32bit)I keep getting this error no matter what

my default resolution was : 1280 x 1024

so I turned the resolution to 800 x 600 and changed config.lua this way (by notepad)

saved the .txt file and changed it back to .lua

still the same error comes

also I pasted msvcr100.dll to system32

but still the same damn error keeps coming up

so if anyone has any solution I'd be glad to hear it

Q: I get the following error "Texture is too large 2048 x 2048,

supported is 1024 x 1024".

A: Make sure the you have the latest display adapter drivers installed

Windows Update or hardware configuration.

I think I finally found out why does that damn error keep coming up

here's what I did

I resized SPLASHES_SHEET_1.png ( from data/images/pc_build) and

then the error changed into

Yaar..there is no such method can solve your problem because if it so

would said this in their FAQ but they only give the solution what i said

post....so i think to update drivers can solve the problem.

I did check for updates via windows update

there was just a 17 KB update for my monitor ( Samsung

syncmaster 23") and I installed it

no difference at all

also there was a 120 MB update for my graphic card

I don't know if that's gonna help ( haven't downloaded it yet)

frustrating part is that you can play call of duty , crysis and

games like those easily on your pc but a game like angry birds

won't even run
