guiancetomakesurethattheyarewellprepare.Yourroleasateacherwillbe

veryimportanttothem,soyoushoulknowhowitworks.

Decidethelevel

Thevastmajorityofstuentswilltakethespeakingtestatthesamelevelastheyare

takingthereaing/writinganlisteningtests.Thefactthatspeakingisanactiveskill

withouttimetoreflectancorrect,istakenintoaccountinsettingthemarking

criteriaantasktypesforeachlevel.Speakingtestsareoptionalatalllevels.The

speakingtestsareseparatelycertificateatthefirst6levels.Whenthespeakingtest

istakenatthehigher4levelsitcomprises20%ofthetotalscore.Thecertificatesat

thehigher4levelswillinicateallfourlanguageskillsyou’vetakenanwhichones

you’veopteoutof.Ifopteoutofthespeakingtestatthehigherfourlevels,anacaniatechoosestotakethespeakingtestatalaterstagethecaniatewill

receiveaseparatespeakingunitcertificate.
