Reports that I have edited have influenced policy in measurable ways

The 2011 Education for All Global Monitoring Report, The Hidden Crisis: Armed Conflict and Education, “spearheaded a movement to protect schools as safe places and the human right of education [. . .] The UN Security Council followed up in July of that year with a resolution to enhance education in conflict zones.”

The recommendations of the 2013 Africa Progress Report, Equity in Extractives, were adopted in the G8 Action Plan Principles to prevent the misuse of companies and legal arrangements, which laid the groundwork for the G8 summit declaration in Lough Erne, Northern Ireland, in June 2013.
