Project Description
Design of the Learning Environment
Four i’s only(I reduce, I reuse, I recycle and I donate) is a Project-Based Learning of Grade 7-SSC students. In this project, students studied if the lack of school materials really affects the school performance and bearing of the students. As the recommendation, students collected used paper, plastics bottles, cups etc. and sold them in the junkshop. The collected money was used to buy school supplies like paper and pen and distributed to the students who cannot afford to buy school materials. Some money collected will be allotted to finance their Science Investigatory Projects.
Students, on the other hand, as part of their lesson in Environmental Science and Science 1, made a story telling about the study using comic strips. It was videoed and uploaded in their group in Facebook, BNHS Research Society. The comic strips were also used in their movie maker and were also uploaded in the said group.
Four i’s only (I reduce, I reuse, I recycle and I donate) is a Project-Based Learning. Students made a study if the lack of school supplies affects the school performance and bearing of the students. Collaboration is needed in this project. In doing the study, they conducted a survey to their schoolmates. The answers were consolidated and interpreted by the students.
ICT was integrated in this project using digital camera, Smartphones, moviemaker and Facebook.

Evidence of Learning
In Four i’s only (I use, I reduce, I recycle and I donate) project, students made their comic strips and had their story telling in front of the class. It was videoed and uploaded in BNHS Research Society, the students’ group in Facebook. The comic strips were scanned and used to make the moviemaker of their stories and were also uploaded in the said group.The Story TellingAs part of the lesson in Conducting Simple Science Investigation during the first grading period, students made comic strips about the study and had their story telling in front of the class.
The Movie MakerUsing the scanned comic strips, students made their moviemaker about their project.
The BNHS Research SocietyGrade 7 BNHS Research Society is the group of the Grade 7-SSC students in Facebook. It is the group where you can find their activities. On the other hand, students uploaded in this group their videos of their storytelling and their movie maker.Students also posted their comments about the project including the things they have learned from it.

Extended Learning Beyond the Classroom
The students made a study if the lack of school materials really affects the attitude and performance of the students in classroom. To do this, they conducted a survey about the problem. Each group were asked to prepare questions that are related to the study. The different questions were consolidated by the grade7 SSC students in the Grade7 level and formulated survey questionnaire to be used by the all groups in the five sections handled by the subject teacher.After they survey, students tallied the answers of their school mates, and made their conclusions about the problem.

As the students collect the used paper, plastic cups, bottles etc. to their neighbors, they learned to value the importance of recycling. They realized how used materials can be a great help to their schoolmates who cannot afford to buy school supplies. On the other hand, valuing the environment took place as they did the recycling.

Four I’s only(I reduced,I recycle,I use and I donate)is a Project-Based Learning. In this project, the each class was divided into groups and each member of the groups was assigned to some specific tasks.
