About me

I’m an Experience Designer with strong analytical skills and background in Human

Computer Interaction with experience in cross-cultural design and research groups.

During my studies I have been involved in projects related to long life rehabilitation

tools and the application of new technologies in healthcare, focusing on the social

relationships and on learning processes mediated by complex artifacts.

I have also been involved in several design projects on a wider thematic range, from

consumer electronics to web design, not only for academic institutions but also in

direct contact with worldwide established companies.

As a designer I work on shaping how people experience new products and services

always focusing on their needs and desires.

Activity: information architecture, wireframing

The aim of the project was to design a new way to explore the islands according to

their natural environment and outdoor activities. The focus was to build an immersive

and social experience through maps populated by user generated content enabling

content and knowledge sharing according to users tastes like shared diaries,

matches based on planned trips or specific tourism activities.

enable people to easily share knowledge and workflows across different countries

and cultures. Zegna intranet has been designed taking into consideration operational

and communicational needs of the organisation as well as individual ones. My Zegna

Activity: wireframing, system redesign

The client need was to improve the existing order entry tool used to collect new

seasons orders from all over the world.

Working in direct contact with both sellers and buyers, I’ve redesigned this tool

including new functionalities such as multi store “all-in-one” order that improved the

performance of sellers and the overall buying experience.

The aim of this project was to desing a simple and easy to use web desktop tool that

would have allowed Scholtes customers to sketch their ideal kitchen appliances

configuration. The output of the configurator was a detailed plan used to trigger the

contact between customer and seller.

network of financial advisors (FA). The aim of the project was to give FA a complete

Activity: Scenarios, personas, experience

Swisscom Innovation hired Experientia to imagine possible uses of ambient,

contextual video in people’s homes, explore video usage beyond one-to-one

interactions and conceptualise the use of ‘shared spaces’ between participants.

The resulting concept visualisation showcased interfaces for social

networking/communities, personalisation and user-generated content.

This was an interface for 220 Interactive totem all around Italy positioned in the Alfa

Romeo dealers. The interface is controlled by a knob trought Arduino. By the Knob

rotation and pressure, users are able to browse and select all the contents.

There are 2 different areas: the car configurator and the discovery area.

Activity: Scenarios, personas, ethnographic research

Experientia conducted a series of ethnographic observations and created a

range of design ideas to help inform the development of prototypes for new

printing kiosks. The resulting design concepts showcased interfaces for use in

public and semi-public spaces, used by individuals or friends jointly in creating

and manipulating digital images.

The crafting islandRevolutionizing the kiosk concept and open it to a full social experience

DescriptionAn horizontal surface display and a large working desk are embedded to form a new kind of working station.

How it worksA 30” multi-touch display offering a very large amount of editing functions is put on one side of the desk in a dominant position, input peripheral and prints output find place next to it.The workstation also feature a scanner and a infrared reader.

Office like chairs on castors complete the set.

Value/PotentialMany people can use the station at the same time for a new full social crafting experience.

Printing stores adopting this kind station could radically expand their offer in terms of services and crafting possibilities and open it to a big number of potential clients.

Crafting on mobile phonesReal-time lomography - synchronizing cameras

DescriptionThe real-time lomography is a kind of photography taken when two cameras are synchronized on sharing mode. This function allows capturing the two framed scenes into the same picture.

How it worksBluetooth enabled cameras can connect and exchange data through mobile phones web protocol. A dedicated software then combines visual data from the both devices into the same picture.

Value/PotentialThis function can become a unique feature offered by Kodak imaging and digital cameras.

Crafting on mobile phonesGift coupons and personalized creative tasks

DescriptionCrafting templates can be exchanged as digital creative gifts. Receivers are asked to take active part in completing the final output, providing media contents and their own creative contribution.

How it worksThese digital presents can be exchanged among users through their mobile phones. Once the receiver accomplishes the task, he/she gets a free coupon to print the gift out.

Value/PotentialThis features enhances the experience of sharing photos. It can also motivate people to be engaged in crafting activities.
