This line of research could lead to the development of models to alleviate the negative behavioral and psychological child outcomes associated with maternal depression through focused interventions that enable mothers to remain employed. Assisting mothers to remain employed would provide families with needed financial resources to reduce poverty and enable access to treatment to enhance child functioning.

I also developed the Maryland ADHD Program, which is the primary clinical child/adolescent training site for our doctoral program.
