Andre is  internationally known as an inspirational speaker and he is becoming one of 

our country’s most sought after workshop facilitators.  Andre founded Andre Johnson 

International TM , a company specializing in the training and development of individu‐

als and organizations. We build our workshop presentations, and programs on Andre’s simple philosophy;              

“If you build the people, the people will build…. “ 

We believe that by practicing proven principles, principles like commitment, discipline, and knowledge, con‐tinuous improvement, and perseverance that anything is possible. His simple messages  have cut across multi‐cultural lines and reach thousands of people of varying ages. With this effective approach, Andre has helped tens of thousands of employees connect with their employers to focus on common goals. He has provided methods that have helped countless students commit to their dreams and plans, and he has inspired the   homeless to believe;  “ just because you’re homeless, you don’t have to be hopeless”.  Andre’s poetry has reached Enugu Nigeria in Africa and inspired Strickland Middle school to build their graduation ceremony around his  poem “Survive”. He’s been asked by judges, mayors, CEO’s, colleges, and churches to perform his heart  warming and eye opening poetry.  In 2007 Andre put his principles to practice; when he wrote the curriculum and spearheaded a homeless       program for Workforce Solutions for Tarrant County. This program focused on job readiness and job place‐ment for individuals in a homeless situation.   

This initiative was in direct connection with the City of Fort Worth’s 10 year Homeless Plan called “Directions Home” (Fort Worth, Texas). In two years, Andre along with his team, helped over 500 individuals gain employ‐ment with an 87% retention rate,  with 45 individuals returning to college or enrolling for the first time.             He received local, state, and national recognition for his contributions and accomplishments. These kinds of results are what earned Andre local and national attention for his ability to inspire people to action. Now as a Corporate Trainer Andre provides leadership training  for staff on all levels in the Workforce centers across Texas.    

In 2009 Andre received his first NATIONAL award for his work with the homeless population; he was awarded the Jodi Spiegel Enhancement of Customer Service Award for his work .   This award annually recognizes one individual who directly affects the customers of the workforce develop‐ment system through enhanced assessment strategies, customer focused procedures, and  related services.                                    (Awarded by: The National Assoc. of Workforce Development  Professionals (NAWDP) in Washington, D.C.)   He has been a speaker and presenter for many state and national conferences Andre Johnson International focuses on two main targets; Relationships and Leadership. We believe If you build the people, the people will build your program, school, organization, etc.
