Products - Pipe Seals . Andhra Polymers produces over 300 different pipe sealsusing more than 30 different compounds using a diverse range of polymers such asEPDM, NBR, SBR, CR and Natural Rubber etc., all of which meet the most exactingspecifications of shape and material.

Andhra Polymers provides a durable cost effective solution to sound jointing,

whatever the application. Sophisticated and flexible techniques ensure optimumcost and consistent quality in both small and large volumes.

The product range includes sealing rings for use with pipes in materials as varied asfibreglass, concrete/fibre cement, PVC, clay and ductile iron.

Moulded rings are manufactured in diameters ranging from 20-1600 mm withoutjoints.Andhra Polymers is one of the few companies worldwide which manafacturesjointless gaskets in such large diameters. Seals for pipes and fittings of largediameter with no size restrictions are manufactured by hot vulcanization jointingprocess. Andhra Polymers pipe seals are the preferred choice of leading pipemanufacturers in India, the Middle East, and various countries all over the world.

The pipe seals are manufactured to various international specifications such as BS:2494, DIN: 4060, ISO, etc.

Pipe seals for the Indian Market are approved by the Bureau of Indian Standards

and carry the "ISI" certification.

mixers, extruders, calendars, preformers, modern compressors, injection moulding, presses,

finishing equipment and state-of- the-art laboratory, ANDHRA POLYMERS is geared to meet

MATERIAL SELECTION & COMPOUNDING

The key to making reliable and consistently high quality rubber parts is in selecting and then

preparing the raw rubber to achieve the required properties. To impart the desired properties, the

raw rubber has to be combined with a range of additives. The selection and precise & skilful

mixing of appropriate additives is known as compounding. ANDHRA POLYMERS experience

& expertise in compounding provides our customers reliable rubber parts - always.

MIXING

The homogeneous mixing of polymers and additives is the key to achieving consistent propertiesin the finished rubber products. Our mixing division is equipped with internal mixers and mills

of various capacities to ensure homogeneous mixing of rubber compounds.

EXTRUSION/ CALENDERING

State of the art extrusion lines with the latest cold and hot feed extruders and fully automated

post extrusion lines ensure the production of precise and ready to mould performs in any form,shape and size.

Fully automated calendaring line to produce ready to mould sheet performs of constant guage.

MOULDINGOur process of rubber moulding utilizes both compression and injection moulding presses. Wehave a wide range of compression and injection presses with high tonnage capacities and a

comprehensive range of joining press, we are fully geared to service your needs in standard

gaskets or special seals in either small or large volumes.

TOOLING

Our existing vast library of moulds for various sizes and a variety of seals caters to almost every

kind of pipe & size. In addition, we possess the necessary skills/tooling expertise, machinery and

ancillary equipment to rapidly develop and deploy tools to meet customer requirements.

FINISHING

High capacity Cryogenic tumbling machines and multiple trimming stations ensure that the final

product is free from unwanted flash and maintains superior appearance.

Quality Assurance . The excellent reputation of Andhra Polymers product range is founded onthe high priority attached to quality control and assurance. That every product manufactured is of

the highest quality is demonstrated by widespread certification from both national and

international standard authorities.

Andhra Polymers has its own well-equipped laboratory including modern state-of-the art

equipment include Rheometers profile projectors etc., to test a wide range of strength,

environmental and other physical properties.

All incoming raw materials are tested, checked and approved prior to use. After the mixing of

ingredients, each batch is tested for hardness, specific gravity and cure characteristics. Finishedproducts are randomly tested on the shop floor before undergoing a quality inspection which

includes visual and physical testing for dimensions, physical properties and product appearance.

Where appropriate, Quality Assurance procedures can be tailored to meet individual customer

requirement.

Our well equipped laboratory is fully capable of carrying out control tests such as aged and

unaged hardness, tensile strength, elongation at break, compression set, tension set dimensionalaccuracy, electrical resistance, ash content, relaxed modulus tests etc., in accordance with

procedures of a host of standards such as BS EN 681-1, ASTM F 477, DIN 4060 Standards etc.
