Passwords & PINS What do I do if I want to make changes to my library Envisionware Passwords & PINS? 1. Log on to your library site server via the Remote Desktop Icon on your desktop. 2. Click on Preferences on the toolbar of the PC Reservation Management Console. 3. Click on the Security Tab from within the PC Reservation Management Console Properties. 4. To change the STAFF password – (this password is used to monitor opening & closing of staff managed reservation station pcs. This password also allows you to exit out of EW software) – type in a new password in the box next to Staff Password. Type it in a second time in the CONFIRM box. Type in the new Staff Password. Type in again to confirm.

What do I do if I want to make changes to my library Envisionware Passwords & PINS?

1. Log on to your library site server via the Remote Desktop Icon on your desktop.

2. Click on Preferences on the toolbar of the PC Reservation Management Console.

3. Click on the Security Tab from within the PC Reservation Management Console Properties.

4. To change the STAFF password – (this password is used to monitor opening & closing of staff managed reservation station pcs. This password also allows you to exit out of EW software) – type in a new password in the box next to Staff Password. Type it in a second time in the CONFIRM box.

a. Be sure to click on APPLY at the bottom of the screen (if you do not click APPLY, the changes will not be saved).

Type in the new Staff Password.

Type in again to confirm.

5. To change the Super User Account Information – (this password can be used at a patron pc to login without a prior reservation. This account also allows staff to access any public pc without regard to current reservation status.) Type in a new Account Name in the corresponding box. Type it in a new PIN Number in the corresponding box.

6. To change the Stand-alone User Account Information – (this password can be used at a patron pc to start a session when communications of the PC Reservation Station Management Console is interrupted. (ie. A Network Outage) Type in a new Account Name in the corresponding box. Type it in a new PIN Number in the corresponding box.
