MESSAGE OF SUPPORT

BARRY O’FARRELL MP

I am delighted to send my greengs to everyone in-

volved in Banag-Banag’s night of Mysque and Illu-

sions celebrang 19 years of community service both

in the Philippines and here in NSW.

Banag-Banag Inc., the Bisayan Speaking Associaon

in NSW has connued to work relessly for those

less fortunate in their local community, specifically

through Youth Programme in Blacktown, Liverpool

and Campbelltown.

It is great that Banag-Banag remains commi8ed to its

homeland by assisng those in need in the Philip-

pines and I commend everyone who has contributed

to the achievements made to date.

Ranging from disaster relief and educaon scholar-

ships through to the purchasing of wheelchairs for

public hospitals and deep water wells in remote com-

munies, Banag-Banag’s numerous programs have

provided immeasurable amounts of care and aid to

those less fortunate and changed the lives of many.

I am sure tonight will succeed in celebrang the 19th

anniversary of Banag-Banag as well as raise funds for

those in need.

I offer my best wishes to Banag-Banag Inc for the

year ahead and wish everyone taking part in the

night of Mysque and Illusions a wonderful evening.

ELSA RINGOR COLLADO

President

PCC-NSW

Welcome to the 19th

anniversary of Banag-Banag Inc. This

year theme is focused on circus, mysc and Illusion.

Let me give you a li8le insight of what the mission and

purpose of this organizaon. It is a charitable fund-raising

organizaon formed 19 years ago which main objecve

and mission is to help the less fortunate ones.

I as president of this organizaon and with the help and

support of my officers, I will Endeavour to carry out and

achieve such mission at all cost.

I am greatly fortunate that I have a group of solid, strong,

dedicated, asserve and greatly commi8ed bunch of offic-

ers, advisers and members who work with me to reach

this common and noble goal.

Only this month, Banag-Banag delivered nebulizers to the

needy hospitals in the Philippines. It donated school sup-

plies, thongs and foods to the Primary schools in the re-

mote areas of the Philippines. This organizaon is also

commi8ed to help and assist Friendship Home Founda-

on Inc , an orphanage Home for those children who lost

their parents and families during the typhoon Sendong in

fact just this month it donated clothing, food and toys to

these orphans.

Back home here in Australia, Banag Banag sponsored a

youth Bootcamp at Doonside New South Wales as well as

children through smith Family.

I am grateful and indeed very happy to inform that this

organizaon has on-going projects, the Don Bosco, Pasil

Cebu Scholarship program having given 28 scholarships to

students who are now all working.. Currently it has given

scholarship to 5 students .

I pray that I and my fellow officers will be righFully guided

as we connue along to fulfil the great mission of the or-

ganizaon to help the least fortunate.

Lastly, I take this opportunity to thank the officers, direc-

tors and advisers for their reless efforts to make this a

great success. I also thanks all and every one who have

supported this fundraising event a great success.

Thank you very much, Daghang salamat kaninyong tanan.
