Parent/Teacher Conferences

Parent-Teacher conferences will be held on February 15th & 16th.

Please mark these important dates on your calendar as your participation in

conferences will help set the tone for a continued partnership with your child’s

teacher and our school. It has been proven over time that the key to a

successful education is the emphasis on cooperation between the child,

school and home. Remember that conferences allow you

the chance to check on your child’s progress, find out

about teacher expectations, and inform the teacher

about what happens at home with your child.

Community Service International Hands

Shumway students decorated1,164 paper hands and earned

$2,211.60 towards Save the Children enrichment

international programs.

Spring & Class Pictures

Spring & Classroom Pictures will be taken on Friday, Feb 3rd. Flyers will be coming home with your child.

If you wish to purchase a classroom picture you will need to send your payment with your child on Feb 3rd.

For their individual pictures you will not need to send any payment. (If you wish, you can pick your background choice and send the flyer back with your child, otherwise a gender neutral background will be chosen for you).

A few weeks later a package with be sent home with a proof of your child’s photo. If you like the photos you can purchase from the package by sending your payment back with your child or order on-line.

In order for us to project class sizes next school year (2017-2018) and to plan for the needs of our students, PLEASE complete the online Student Intent to Return Form by going to the link below:https://cusdelementaryed.wufoo.com/forms/shumway-student-intent-to-return-1718/

This form only needs to be completed once. If you have already completed the form Thank You for your time.

The Student Intent to Return Form MUST be completed for every student in grades kindergarten through 5th. Please take a moment to complete this form before Thursday, February 16th at 8:00 p.m.
