Early check-inIf you’ve not already checked-in online, some of our airlines allow you to check-in the day before your flight. Perfect if it’s early in the morning or if you’re planning to stay in one of our hotels. You can even drop your bags off too.

Baby changing facilities We have specially equipped rooms for feeding and changing babies, which are indicated by a babycare symbol.

There are also fold-downtables provided in somemale and femaletoilets.

Getting through Security We’ve created Assistance and family lanes in Security especially for you. These lanes give your family extra time and help to get through Security. Simply follow the signs for the Assistance and family lanes.

We need to scan all items, including children’s toys. We know it can be upsetting for children to be parted from their favourite toys, but there’s nothing to worry about. We often hear that teddies enjoy their x-ray adventures!

You may carry enough baby milk or baby food in your hand luggage sufficient for your flight.

Kids zones We’ve created some amazing areas to keep your little ones entertained while you’re waiting in the Departure lounge.

The Kids zone in the South Terminal is on the Upper level, opposite Dixons Travel.

The Kids zone in the North Terminal is currently closed but we’ll

be bringing you a brand new area later this year.

Food and Drink We have a wide range of restaurants and cafes for families to visit before boarding your flight, all with kids’ menus to enjoy and serving food within 15 minutes. With highchairs for younger diners, we’re making it easy for the whole family to sit back and fill their tummies before boarding.

All of our restaurants, cafés and bars will be happy to offer you a glass of tap water, free of charge.

Pushchairs If you’re departing, you can take your pushchair to your gate before your flight. Your handling agent will tell you where you need to leave it so they can put it on the aircraft.

We have dedicated pushchairs you can borrow on your return journey, located along arrival routes. Please return them to the collection points in Baggage reclaim, after your own pushchair has been delivered from the aircraft.

North Terminal - Well Pharmacy in WHSmith (to the left at the far end of the Departure lounge) and Boots.

South Terminal - Boots.

ParkingOur Valet parking is perfect for families – simply drop off your car with one of our Valet staff and they’ll have it waiting for you when you return. Plus, look out for our Family Friendly bays in our Long stay car parks, which are conveniently next to the bus stops.
