Once upon a time there were two giants called Toby and Strawberry.

They were both 12, but they were taller than Ridgeway’s roof.

One day the giants came to our school.

They were very hungry and thought they would eat some nice juicy children and staff.

I’m Toby! I’m Strawberry

We heard stamping noises coming closer to our school. We looked out of the window and saw two giants coming towards us!

Their stomachs were rumbling and they were licking their lips.

They came up to our classroom and banged on the windows and smashed the glass.

We ran and wheeled ourselves out of the classroom and escaped to the hall and hid behind the curtain in the dark.

The giants tried to get in the windows to follow us but they were too big.

‘What shall we do?’ we asked ourselves. We were very scared of the giants.

Lucy and Finn had an idea. ‘Let’s call a fairy’.

All of a sudden, a whistle dropped on the floor.

It was sparkling and glowing.

‘Shall we blow it?’ asked Hasan.

‘I will,’ said Finn. Finn picked up the whistle and blew it.

Suddenly a fairy flew in.

She was very small. She had a wings and wore a pretty dress and she waved her magic wand.

‘Help us please’, we asked the fairy. ‘The giants are going to eat us all’.

‘OK you guys. Don’t worry, I’ll sort it!’ said the fairy, laughing.

She flew to our classroom and looked through the door.

Toby had his head stuck in the window.

Strawberry had her leg stuck through the door.

Perfecto!’ said the fairy. ‘Let’s sort these giants out!’

She got out her magic wand and waved it in the air.

she said.

Purple sparkly dust flew out of her wand to the giants. The giants disappeared with a flash and a bang!

We were worried about the fairy so we went back to the classroom feeling very scared.

The fairy was dancing on the table, and this is what she sang….

‘Oh, oh, oh oh, staying alive,

staying alive…’

We all joined in together.

Thanks to the fairy….

We all lived happily ever after.
