Business Objectives :

Broadcast Operations Management:

To ensure uninterrupted transmission and supervision of play out & uplink operations. To ensure the delivery of all playlists and content in a timely manner which are most

essential for smooth transmission operations and to take up all discrepancies with concerned teams for corrective measures before transmission schedule.

Day to day monitoring of channels for correct telecast of all primary and secondary elements and for proper signal quality. To enable send of Asrun logs for network channels for smooth billing purpose on daily and timely basis.

To ensure proper preview of all primary content and secondary elements before the same is telecast. Applicable CBFC and content guidelines for network movies are strictly followed ensuring no violation from statutory bodies.

On-air play list Changes as per Channel requirement like addition/ deletion of promos, Commercials, Songs & programs for time management.

Media Management:

To ensure timely tracking, receipt and delivery of Tx- files / physical Tx-inventory and media tracking on Aspera to highlight missing materials or corrupt data.

Inventory is maintained for all received Tx ready materials and physical media through all modes of deliveries i.e. through courier/ FTP. All requirements for materials from Mumbai for various purposes are met and tracked.

Current Day to day activities :

Working on Harris Automation System (D-Series),Harmonic Automation System with Omneon Server, ADC Playout Sysytem and PBS Automation with Leitch Server for playout of primary & secondary events for all channels.

Worked on Grass Valley Automation. Checking the telecast playlists & maintaining TRAI guidelines . Ensuring ingest & preview of the content before same goes on air. Complete Co-ordination part with various Departments (like Scheduling, Traffic,

Library, Graphics, Programming) regarding different activities day to day basis.
