Income of the Target Audience• Most of the target audience get there income from a part time job as 10 people selected this option.

• The other most popular choice was their parents meaning that my target audience do not have a lot of disposable income.

• This is backed up by my focus group as everyone in the focus group stated that they get there money from either their parents or a part time job.

• Therefore my film can not be too expensive to access as my target audience do not have money to spare.

How do the audience spend there free time?

•The 2nd most popular answer with 23 responses was Social Networking, showing that the best place to put my trailer could be on social networking sites.

Use of Celebrities in Films

• The use of celebrities in films is obviously important to audiences as 80% of the people who answered my questionnaires said that they are more likely to see a film if it features certain actors/actresses.

• This is backed up my focus group when one student said they are more likely to see a film if it features ‘Orlando Bloom’.

• Therefore the use of close ups is important in a trailer because it advertises the actors/actresses in the film.

Themes in a film• From my focus group, the students answered that there favourite theme

in a film is comedy or romance. Therefore between there favourite film is of the genre romantic comedy. However my film is a romantic tragedy in the beginning there may be an element of tragedy included.

• My questionnaire did not show significant results as Romance, Revenge and Good vs Evil received the same amount of results.

• As you can see from the pie chart they each received 33.3% of the vote each.

My Idea• We pitched the idea for the film to the audience in the questionnaire and then asked them to rate the idea on a scale of one to ten. The most popular answer was ‘7’ showing that my idea is quite popular among the target audience.

• As well as this, the highest score we received was ’10’ and this was answered by 5 people, showing again that the idea is promising.

• The lowest score that it got was ‘1’ and this was only by one person meaning that it is not significant.
