Main ImageThis is a medium shot of Jared Leto, he is looking directly at the camera, making it relate to the audience.

Main cover lineThis is the main cover line that anchors the main image of the front cover.

Cover linesThese cover lines tell us about what contents are in the magazine.

HeaderThe header gives us a little extra information on what is in the magazine and is positioned at the top of the cover.

FooterThis adds a little extra information and is positioned at the bottom of the page.

BarcodeThe barcode is placed on the bottom right of the page because it is easy to spot and easy for retailers to show. It also features the issue date.

House styleThe house style mainly consists of Sans Serif Fonts and the colour scheme of black, red and yellow.

Target Audience

The target audience is mainly teenagers and young adults aged around 15 – 25. It’s mainly targeted at Rock fans as all the artists in the magazine are focused around rock. You can tell this through the cluttered layout of the magazine which suits the genre of music and the standing out images that would appeal to a younger audience.

into a crowd at one of their gigs. Overlapping the main image that is mainly used as a background is 4 medium shots of each of the band members along with the song list they were performing.

LayoutThe layout consists of writing framing the images of the article. With the review of the gig in the column on the right and the and the extras to the article like opinions of the gig on the left of the double page spread.
