Creating a background
I wanted my background to be similar to the background of the rolling stones magazine. To do this I used the gradient tool. From the top right and bottom right corners I held the gradient tool until this pattern appeared.

Editing
I searched on Google for a film strip and then inserted 4 images into the white spaces, I also tilted the strip to make it look more unusual and funky.
To insert the images I used the magic wand tool to select the area I would like to insert my image, I then pasted into selection and adjusted the image to fit accurately.
I added my magazine title like many other magazines such as ‘Grazia’.

Trial and error
I experimented with Photoshop to obtain the best results with the images and fonts I chose and decided it was still empty. When feedback was given I acted upon my targets and decided to add another film strip and change the title to just LRIX instead of the additional writing after as it didn’t look effective.

Final Product
I think I have stuck to the conventions of a contents page however, I chose to put my pictures in a style of my own instead of placing them in a block.
